Great looking Death Star 8)

Cheers. It's got all it's bits and clips etc. No rips in the heavy cardboard or cracks in the gun turret bit that is really thin looking. The plastic is about as good a quality as a yogurt pot.

Been looking for ages for a decent one. Considered buying up a few incomplete ones to make a good one then selling the extra bits on but managed to buy a complete decent one.

Got the Kenner Death Star that is really big with loads of plastic bits and levels etc. but I think I like this best as a lot of imagination has gone into making it and only out of cardboard too.

Last week I got a Top Toys Chewie and today I won a TT Logray so that just leaves the mega rare Yoda and Luke Jedi to find !! :D

Thanks to Inzaman I also won today an AFA 90 loose Han Bespin and the seller also had an AFA 90 Darth Vader for sale so that's another 2 items off my list !! 8)

nice pieces fitzy, especially the DS. how much does a boxed one go for?

In the time I've been looking I've seen them go for anyware between Ã'£100-Ã'£250 depending on condition. I don't think that they are quite as rare as some people believe, there's normally 1-2 on ebay, but getting them complete and not knackered is a real pain. Usually a few part ones and even just the box on there.

Can't quite remember but I think the guy I got this off only took cheques or something so less people were bidding on it.

Some nice looking pieces you have there Fitzy 8)

Thanks.

Trying to improve on the overall quality of my collection at the moment. Once I was close to getting one of each I started to become impatient and less decerning about a few of the things I got.

I got this from Jukesy just after Christmas

that prune face card is mint, and its a shame about that little crack underneath the bubble :(

the tarkin figure will come off the card easily as the person that sold them to me didn't use strong glue. the figures on the back are all the other customs i bought from her

Some of the vintage customs are really well done.

Does anyone know why kenner never produced a vintage tarkin? Maybe Peter Crushing was worried about image rights!?
