Check out this custom Dengar that is just about finished for me!!The guy also made another gun instead of the 12 inch one that came with it!It has had its armour swapped onto a sideshow body and the head taken from the 12 inch Dengar by Hasbro!It also has been repainted!He has still got to make a base for up for it!What you reckon peeps.....pretty good or what!It has been done by a guy named Ron Hemble!
In regards to the custom, we are doing a job for each other so it evens out Weasel!He wants me to make in return the bridge from the U.S.S Enterprise which he can paint himself!Just waiting for some parts for my bandsaw to cut up the styrene then I will get into it!

but some one was saying that thier VC jawa got refused for grading as it had the wrong blaster...
(not sure if that was AFA or UKG either lol)

True Joe!It is proving difficult to find Dengar on good cards and ones like the coin offer wont come up very often IMO!I dont mind getting things and upgrading them really anyway!The most common ones are the 41e by the looks of things!

I think it was SWCC Gustie and the grading company was UKG I think also!Considering though it looks like UKG have graded a fake ledy Burgandy Squiddie I am not sure if they know alot about rare figures!

AFA make mistakes, but the wouldn't refuse a figure based on a variation in the weapon. One of the complaints against them is that you can pick up a minty cloth caped jawa and stick a VC on it and send it in, or swap a dt saber into a minty ROTJ luke.
The VC jawa and the 12 back cloth caped jawas came with both types of blaster - surely a grading company should know that :roll:
