It feels like a gazillion years since I posted something up but I finally picked up a couple of variants I'd been searching for in the right condition at the right price. A PBP mint green Bum Face for the price of a regular Wally and a Molded Face Klaatu

First off, let me say it was great to finally meet Stu, Jez, Si, Grant, Steve and Rich in person at Celebration!

Second, apropos to the thread, here's my one vintage pickup from the room sales. I'd just finished telling the lads over dinner that this was the one thing I'd hoped to find at Celebration. A few minutes later as we're walking into the room sale area, Steve spots this, turns to me and says, "there you go Dallas!"

From loose figures to 12 backs, from custom shop displays to Tie Bombers, there are some fantastic new acquisitions being shown off. Nice one. Great to meet you too Dallas.

After a few months of waiting and saving I finally managed to haul some vintage in my net.
First off is this beaut of a Skiff. I've wanted one for years and I'm delighted with this one. This was bought from Lee Harris after I saw it for sale on Facebook last year. Lee flew it from Oz to Chicago. I then managed to get it safely home.

Plus a mixture of Beyond the Toys items, including an ESB C&C Beer Mat, ESB wrapping paper, a working mini projector, a set of ESB pencils, 2 x Koolee cups (my favourite Koolee cup artwork), ESB Vinyl Case and a copy of the iconic 1977 Rolling Stone magazine (from the room sales).

I had a great time at Celebration trading swag, seeing panels, spending time with old and making new friends... I also managed to pick up a couple of items for the collection, a couple that I feel are key to moving the Han Solo focus forward:

Kenner internal paperwork (3 pages) detailing the Han Solo laser pistol first shot changes required.

12" alternate box art transparency; this matches the signed print I already have from Kim.

Full metal replica ESB Han prop.

I also picked up a couple of books and the last Sigma mug I needed for the set. Thanks to Simon, I also managed to get the coaster set I was after from the show store too
