That's some very nice die-cast you have there to add to your already mighty collection! :D

Not been on here for a while, that thing called work gets in the way plus had to look for a new car as mine is getting to be very unreliable :x :x

Some great pick ups guys, love the die cast 8)

I am going to Dorset next Friday for a well earned break and was wondering if any of the members knows of any decent places down there that sells vintage SW :?:

Thanks Russ :D

Just picked up this Canadian Luke X-Wing for my focus. Big thanks to Jez for this one, he not only found it for me in an obscure Facebook group, but also passed on it for his own focus to let me have it. Very much appreciated mate.

Managed to double my SW offerless 20/21 backs this week with these two little beauts. Been holding off for the right prices for a while, then 2 come along like buses. The bubble is beautiful on R5D4 and it's a short V Power Droid too. :D

Nice pick up, looks great :).

Really cool diecasts 8)

Lovely Luke, Edd.

Those droids are absolutely superb 8)

About time I posted something in here- managed to get a couple of cut bubble Palitoys recently, along with a Palitoy ESB Luke Skywalker. Also got hold of a couple more items for my childhood focus: Palitoy ROTJ competition leaflet, TV Times and Shreddies advert.

Ok so London buses don't come along at all and then 3 come along all at once... bit like 20 / 21 backs. Now I'm definitely skint but I didn't think I'd win this one but the price was good so I had to have a pop :D

Cheers guys. Can't really afford them all. Was away on holiday and low bids IMO won them all. Really, really happy with the condition of all of them but especially the R5D4. :D
My "low bids" never win, would you bid for me in future :?
Seriously, great condition MOCs, congratulations.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to add this Death Star World micro set to my collection

It's been played with but this is the first time I've seen one for sale in the UK in the 3 years I've been looking and I couldnt find reference to a boxed one being sold or acquired on the forum ever.

I also have one of these but picked mine up in the states. Great set and congrats on getting one, hors of fun to be had :D

ClarksPie,

I think that is probably the one I took a punt on as well, didn't realise I would have to wait 3 years before finding another!

From your name I'm guessing you're in Cardiff too?

You might get lucky with a Death Star set but collecting micro in the UK isn't easy. I've nearly got a full run without shipping anything over from the U.S. so it can be done with patience.

Unfortunately I'm not in Cardiff any more but I always make sure I pick up a Clarksie when ever I go back!

18 years in Cardiff and never had a Clarks Pie!

Just started the micro collection, so got a few bits and pieces but this is still on my list. The advantage of having such a big list is that 3 years is probably not going to be such a long time to wait.

The boxed millennium falcon went for around £230, is that a realistic price? Never seen one before but then again I've not looked that hard

In addition to my last mega post I'm delighted with these 2 beauties.

The first being my Luke X Wing Palitoy. This fits wonderfully with my 45B. All I need now is a ROTJ Palitoy and I'll be all set.
Thanks to Nicholas Dykes for holding him for me for so long and really looking after me.

The second, and I never saw this coming is a Creature Set 3 Pack! I've always wanted one of these, this one in particular. I think I said so in my very first podcast interview. This is a case of having a keen eye and being in the right place at the right time.
It's a beater but I'm delighted to finally have one.

Probably the weirdest pickup I've gotten. Harrison Ford scrap book from around 87/88. Someone really had an obsession. There's 89 pages.

Omg that is one strange and random thing to find, someone really had a Ford obsession...

Were any of the pages stuck together?

apack7229 said:
Surprisingly not. There's even a front cover of a book which is pretty weird.

Oh yeah I didn't clock onto that, I thought it was a magazine page clipping.

Don't worry there is at least one magazine cover and also some movie tickets for Indiana Jones and presumed innocent.

Obsession or not, great piece of narrative and history

Thanks. :)
