I've been looking for an R5-D4 (Kenner/graded) for years, can't find one at a price I'm willing to pay. He seems to be one of those figures who is going to take me ages to track down! Ahh well!

Gustie, both yours and the one shown off by bollux came from me.

Bollux - what i liked about this when i bought it was the thickness off the helmet insignia. It is a bit thicker than the standard.

I took General Madine from a cut card and he has faults. Those tiny pinpricks of paint. So you can never be sure.

It was a $200 ebay bin about a month ago, the seller only posted within the usa so i had him ship it to jason (sacko) who forwarded it to me.

The 8d8 is a variation to my other 8d8 baggie, the face is painted different and the mouth appears thicker (could be the paint i guess) , and the paint on the figures chest is darker brown.

Also there is a slight mold variation on the leg.

My other 8d8 baggie, on the figures legs (hip) under the cogs there is a small circle, on this one it has it on one leg but the other is smooth, no small circle.

Nothing major but just something i observed. I tried to take a pic but it won't show up.
I do have a pic of the faces tho.

Nice Del I saw a sealed one go for $250 and the other opened boxes ran into just under $200 but I didn't see this BIN.

Would like to see more pics of the face variation you mentioned, but the leg circles is really quite common : The legs were mixed at the factory and as such there is no correlation to releases , baggies over MOC or anything else, luckily out of all the 4 baggies I picked up for my focus each one was a different variation allowing me to get all 4 bagged !

I also noticed the same in MOC I have no circles , 1 circles or paired circles on both Kenner and Trilogo MOCS , boring I know!

Still a great item and I will get one someday!

One looks like the lili ledy 8d8, but can't see how it would be in this baggie so its probably just painted different.

Anyway here they are, its hard to see the difference in the eyes in the picture, plus the differnce in the browns doesn't show up great :?
