Last 16 of Championsleague sweepstake?

It wouldnt surprise me if Rafa played Lucus tonight.
I just hope he goes with Yossi instead but you know how Rafa loves the three in midfield.

Missed the game, cos of bloody training, but seen the score. United's title to throw away BIG STYLE now!

fantastic game :D and a draw was fair, although Liverpool dominated the first 60 mins. I actually was a bit disappointed we didn't win as we were leading with 2 mins to go

Arshavin is magic - both our defences were shite and Utd aren't going to be too worried about either of us for the league or Champions League :(

Just sky plused the re-run at 2.30 so I'll watch that tomorrow night and curse Arshavin up and down!

Who was the last player to score 4 at Anfield? Was it Peter Ndluvu for Coventry, or did he only get three?

didnt andy cole bag 4 against us when he played for the toon..i cant remember if it was st james though.

Well, liverpool are hell bent on giving me grey hairs, you really shouldnt concede 4 goals at home if you are a top side but hey we've done it to chelsea and utd. We are showing some true spirit in the run-in, hopfelly Arsenal can pull off a win against utd and its game on, i just dont want to see that wrinkly old ****ing whinge bag win the title again, he is so full of **** its unbelievable.

wouldnt it be great if utd lost in the CL and we pipped them for the title....i think id rabbit hump my missus if we did it...id cetainly be getting pissed anyway :)

the last player to score four goals at anfield was Dennis Westcott for Wolves in 1946...just as a stat attack

COME ON PORTSMOUTH BEAT UTD!!

two games in hand is too much now i think.. :(

What is it about Arsenal players scoring four at Anfield!? Have they got pictures of our back four and keeper in a compromising position with a Cabbage or what?

just hope Arshavin doesn't do a Baptista and never score again

i think after last nights display fergie will take special measures... and make sure someone marks him
well done the ars :D :D

for some reason everyone seems to have stopped posting in this section :p

spoons, i did say 4 didn't i ? it was unlucky, if gibbs hadn't of slipped and almunia wasn't blind it could have been a lot closer as the young gunners had started so well. hopefully the stars wont leave in the summer and next year may be more fruitful for fergie's new best mate mr wenger.

any thoughts on tonights game , i think barca have the edge, as a goal will mean chelsea have to score 2. i would rather chelsea progress but if you are going to win it then you must beat the best teams

Just glad it's not a Man u v Chelsea final again.
Drogba's reaction at the end was classic.

I missed the Arsenal United game (thank ****), but from what I've heard over the two legs United fully deserved to go through.

As for last night, great game for the neutral. Heart breaking for Chelsea. I actually felt sorry for them, then I remembered they employ Drogba, ashley cole and John terry. Suddenly all my sympathy evaporated!

As for the penalties, one you can write off (the shirt pull) as Barca didn't get one in the frist leg for a near identical offence. The Malouda one, the foul started outside the box, but the worst/most blatant part was inside the box, I thought it was probably the most clear cut (but not a stonewaller). As for the two hand ball claims, how many times has John Terry blocked shots with his hands!? The Eto'o one was IMO, not a penalty as it was hit so dam hard and he was so close, he had no chance to react to move his arms. Yes, I've seen them given but if I was the ref I wouldn't have given it.
But, the whole conversation would have been academic if Drogba had taken either of the 3 chances he had, including the penalty claim when let's be honest had Alan Shearer or Robbie Fowler been in that position they would have tucked the ball away and THEN worried about falling over like a big girls blouse!

Unfortunate thing is Barcelona are without three of their first choice defenders for the final. Albeit the way Alves played he won't be a loss at all.
Gotta feel for Abidal though, his WAS a harsh red card. Darren Fletcher's was not.

fletchers challenge was awesome, took the ball before fabregas. at least when he got sent off, knowing he was going to miss the final, he acted like a true sportsman , didn't argue and demonstrate. maybe a few of those chelsea players should take note.

Or a few of the petulant wankers at United!
I'm looking at you Ronaldo, Rio and Rooney.
