This may be a bit simplistic and I have no idea how true this is, but I love the idea of Barbara Broccoli telling Amazon boss to F&%K OFF - Bond isn't 'content' it is so much more: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/32427559/next-james-bond-film-amazon-barbara-broccoli - It is also interesting that despite the last Bond 'series' being 2006-2021 (so crossing over with the Disney SW stuff starting in 2015) a very strong, talented female film exec managed to modernise the character while still remaining true to Fleming's vision & her family legacy, also the female characters are strong and arguable better drawn than any in the history of the franchise, and yet not a whiff of agenda anywhere. Know and love your story-world and don't comprises....
If only Star Wars has such strong leadership and people that care that much they will go to the mattresses over it... Although in reality I suspect the dynamic between Eon and Amazon is different to that of Lucas Film and Disney - but whatever, as a SW fan I'd love to see that sort of passion.
