Is it wrong to really dislike other collectors ?

That 'display' is a crying shame.
"Up" until i saw this, i always had time for AFA i could understand why for a very rare loose figure or rare MOC you might want a third party to take a look at it and give it a thumbs up or thumbs down, But that things gone too far, someone at AFA should put a stop to it!

There is no self righteous egotistical joy in having animosity against ugraders and AFA. A hippie by heart- id much prefer to spend time helping each other out and celebrating a fantastic hobby.
I would prefer never to get into these scrapes with other 'collectors', but on one side there is passion, restoration, protection and enjoyment. On the otherside there is rape, pillaging and profit. You can use the ugrade model and use it to methodically analyise many other issues in the world.
The same selfish character traits found in ugrading can be found in short term banking derivatives, military spending, environmental issues with energy corporations. Everything that is another brick in the wall comes from the same character traits by lower evolved parasites that don't understand that they can operate the way they do because the rest of us has safeguarded that environment for the hoping they would support it and add to it rather than rape it.
There are 2 different types of people in this world. Don't get distracted by gender, religion, race or social class. There are only 2 types:
Those that give and those that take.
Fortunately the majority of people I have met in this world are givers. The takers don't realise this as they feel they are hidden in the crowd. But they are not. They're character traits stick out like a Nazi uniform in gay pride rally. Shame on them for their evolution has not surpassed their own awareness and social consciousness.

I am a bit of a profit hunter, I buy items I feel are under priced that I don't collect and sell them on, I do this to fund my other interests, I often find when you got out looking for one thing you will find something completely different so have tried to learn about as much about the collectables market as I can I am not opposed to cleaning things up and rooting round to find the right original weapons accessories or medal ribbons ETC ETC this behaviour adds value to an existing item, but wantonly destroying something especially this rare and important even if you could make 100 times your original investment is just barbarian! Who ever commissioned this obscenity should be ostracised from the collecting community what a *unt of the highest calibre!

The figures were sealed. Otherwise they wouldn't get the Ugrade. Im not sure about the cracks.
Sorry DS i am late to the party on this one, I havent seen it before today so have no idea what the deal was with them, As i undestand it If the figures could be removed they wouldnt get a U grade. even if the bubbles were cracked i would have prefered to keep them on card and crossed the loose grading route only if something majorly awful did happen to them.

Actually the bubbles where cracked but since the figures (or Moc's) came from a reliable source they even Ugraded anyway. The guy who had those Ugraded was once allready the point of discussion when he Ugraded a VC Jawa wich was actually a AFA70 moc before he send it in to have it Ugraded.
He send many Moc's in to have Ugraded figures, and i am talking even C8/C9 Moc's, not even beaters.
The Guy has no respect for the hobby in my opinion, but he is still a posting member On RS....
