What harm can it do? At the end of the day I like to think we are a Star Wars Community as a whole, only this forum is way more relaxed and that's why I prefer it - some of the posts on here have had me in stitches laughing - that can't be said about other forums.
There are decent members on RS and I do post on there, but I wish they wouldn't run the forum like the former Soviet Union.

I couldn't agree more, Paul. I joined Rebel Scum last month as I thought it would be good to get to know people over there with me being a potential buyer on elusive stuff I haven't found this side of the water... but I've got to be honest, I've been put off from making my first post ever since registering. I will agree that most of the members on RS are good guys just scared to make an opposing comment or they just stay silent as that keeps them from getting banned. The MODs over there are horrible and they make the place worthless to even discuss, have an opinion or just generally feel free to relax. The sale ads really are not all that great anymore either. I think the reason he locked it was two-fold. 1. We have a disdain and harbor hatred for their forum and 2. It invites us over to come party at their place.
We have bashed that forum for years. I think this is the worst I have seen it, but all in all, it is not SWFUK and never will be.

There is a fantastic comradery and I know it sounds cheesy "family" feel on here, that's why I love it. Some great guys on here, and we all have an input, noobs like myself can learn from the masters, and not be afraid to ask silly questions ( well, most of the time)

This **** is hilarious. It's absolutely ok to dislike other collectors. Hell I hate most of the people I've met in life in general. I do post on RS but mostly generic comments. I think there's a lot of boring threads on RS because most of the good topics have been discussed more than once so whenever someone comes along and asks what could be an interesting and legit question they are immediately shouted down and told to do research (which is fine because i understand that alot of long time collectors have already gone over the same **** many times but it leads to tons of bland threads about **** like "what's your favorite......"). I don't hate RS I've met a bunch of good people on there and have learned a lot but it definitely has its flaws. You can't say **** is a major flaw and not letting people hash out their differences as well. Where I come from motherfuckers yell at each other and either come to an agreement or not.
