Ipad issue

Having an issue

Blank square areas appearing, and when typing this for example, the cursor trots almong but no words appearing

Flipped to eBay same thing, blank square areas appearing

Is this a glitch with the ipad, is there something I need to do?

Any help would be welcomed from any techies

Sounds like there might be something wrong with it. I'd take it in to the Apple store and they might be able to fix it for you for free. I've been in a few times to have things fixed and never been charged.
