How do I get rid of ipad banners

I have an ipad, and never bothered updating the operating thingy, but my lad picked up my ipad the other day and updated it

:twisted: :twisted: now everything I'm used to has bloody changed, my pictures etc are in a stupid format etc

Any way to the point

I keep getting App banners at the top of my screen, when you click on the "X" nothing happens.

It's really annoying, is there anyway to prevent this?

Any Ipad whizz kids that can help an old fogey out?

No, nothing like that, it's an Argos banner that won't bloody go away.

Top of the screen, so it obliterates the search bar on ebay for example, it's really bloody annoying.

Best thing to do is take it to an Apple store. They should be able to fix it for you for free.
