Broken iPad screen.

Anyone on here know the best place to get a new screen fitted to an ipad?
Is there anyone here who does it?

A shop near mine does them for £65. Apple will do it for around £110

£65 is cheap. £85 is the typical going rate from the mobile phone repair shops

Do it yourself, buy a quality screen part and watch a tutorial on youtube. I have done loads of Iphones in the past. Just don't go for the cheapest screen you can find on the bay though.

if you go down the self repair route, then i can lend you suction grip pliers to pull the screen off. Some of the more modern ipad screens are glued around the edges and you will likely need a heat gun to gently heat the glue. I've taken apart ipad minis and a few ipads, and every time the glue pattern causes issues.

It might be just as profitable to sell the broken ipad and buy a newer one rather than spending 100squid on a repair. Broken screen ipads can fetch decent money.

Cheers guy's, but i've found a repair centre in London that replace the screen for £49. I'll do that. Saves me messing it up :lol:
