Not yet mate as i still need to perfect the cutting of the window area, i am almost there but if i think about selling a few i want to make sure they are perfect.

I reckon you make money flogging them.
I might try a few on ebay, but in all honesty i enjoy the fact that they are custom and they are a kind of rarity/one of a kind in my collection.

Also it takes quite an effort and time to get one box as i have had to change the background colour of the figure (this takes an age!!), get screen grabs, cut to size, brighten certain tones so they print correctly, recolour, etc. I have also had to print samples out for sizes, colour, etc. the list goes on.

ok we get the point there not gonna be cheap

More a case of i dont know if i want to actually make some to sell. I might do once i have created a whole set but it takes a while to not only design the boxes but cut them out. Its great doing it for yourself, but to print them, wait a few days for the print to dry properly (they mark if you dont leave them a few days), cut them out, glue the window, wait for it to dry, then glue the box together wait for that to dry, cut the insert etc. As an example i have spent about 30mins tonight just trying to get a DS commander screen grab and i have yet to lighten it up, cut to size, test print etc to see what it looks like.

Then there is always the risk that someone is not happy with your handy work; all that hastle for a few quid - as much as i enjoy doing them i think i'd rather keep it as a hobby as opposed to a business, if that makes sense.

would you knock up a zuckuss one? i done a custom and want to display/sell it in one of your boxes :)

Actually, having said that maybe its because i am currently surrounded by them as i printed a load off before i went on holiday and have spent every night this week fiddling with a box   , i will probably change my mind next week :D

I have been a bit slow on the creation just recently but here we go, a Hoth Set;

The SW ones i have so far, it took me a while to get the R5D4 measurements right but got there in the end. I will use that template for R2 and hopefully Yoda and Jawa.

Walrus Man is the most rewarding so far as it took me an age to find the picture, then i had to recolour, brighten, re-contrast etc etc but it got there in the end 8)

ATAT Driver and Lando Bespin. Bespin is my next focus, i have completed a Han and Leia Bespin; just awaiting them drying out.

Lando's pretty cool imo as the figure actually matches the bottom picture with the smile and teeth, it took me a while to find that shot.

Looking good Inzi! 8)

The DSC looks great, def my favourite so far.
You going to do one for all the figures (eventually) or just a select few?

Thanks weasel.
I am very pleased with the DSC as i just happened across it whilst i was looking for a stormtrooper grab. There are not that many great shots of the DSC in SW imo.
As for a complete set, well i am going to complete the first 21 on SW logo, about 90% of the ESB figures and probably about 85% of the ROTJ figures. I might not bother with the POTF figures as its only really up to Jedi that has nostalgia for me. Then again once i have completed the ones i want i might give them a go :?

I have managed to get the Palitoy logo so am planning on doing a fe wmore of those. I also have a SW and an ESB Darth Vader that i need to print, the SW is on a Palitoy and looks great, will post some mor eonce i have built them :D

Do you still make these? They look very well done!
I have not had chance to make any for a while but i pretty much have a full collection of SW and ESB templates and a few ROTJ templates. I will get back into making them over the winter months if i can get off COD4 online for the 360

Glad this thread came back to the top, awesome work on these, make figures look a million dollars!

Just bumping this thread as i still have all of these boxes five years on. I never got round to doing any Jedi ones but i might try and get back into it over the cold dark winter months :)

Mate these are pure class, did you ever get around to making a Yoda? I'd love to buy one if you did.

They are blooming fantastic 8) great skills, fancy doing a Luke Jedi next and making a spare one

Never seen these either - they look ace and I am sure that you would sell loads of them if you could put them into production

Thanks, I actually have a mock up Yoda on ESB, i must have purchased a Yoda but for the life of me i cannot find him. :?

I think the Yoda box was the last one before i took a sabbatical - with our new arrival back in 2008 my focus on everything just changed.
I will buy some more quality grade paper and print one off and try and make it up. I have what i think is a pretty smart picture of Yoda as well 8)

I've wanted an 8D8 since 2008..get to work

Looking back through my templates i was part way through 8D8 so i must have had your message in mind to make one. I actually have an 8D8 figure now so can see if he fits the standard size box :D

And thanks for the complements gents, i cannot believe i have been away from the hobby for five years
Looking through some of my pictures i forgot some of the stuff i actually owned, i have since sold some as i noe refocus. I have roughly six or seven AFA graded figures i want and about 20 loose non graded but mint :)

Like a few of the other members here I have never seen these, but they look great I love the Bossk one.
