Just lucky, walking along and noticed a lonely Biker Scout on the floor, so picked him up only to be told she had a box of them.
So as rummaging through she said she was selling for a friend so any offer would be good

me and the mrs sold at a carboot the other week in Chorleywood, we set our table up at 7am and I took 3 beaters with me as a bit of an experiment. between 7 and 730 I had already had 10 different people ask how much the beaters were and I got talking with them, well tried to...the majority were not interested in chatting and I could see from what they already had that they were only buying stuff to sell on to make more money. A man came over with a loose at-at in a bag and we had a good chat, he was a collector but had no interest in buying online and only picked up what he could at carboot fairs.

Anyway the moral of the story is if you want to find vintage star wars figures then you need to be getting there early when the sellers are still setting up otherwise come 8 or 9 oclock when the general public usually turn up it's already gone.

we made £70 that day, mainly from an old hifi I took and Christmas/house warming presents we know longer needed

I couldn't get to the local carboot over the weekend but I did visit my local collectables shop and bought loose 8d8, imperial comannder, rebel soldier, rebel commander all mint without weapons for £12

Well today wasn't very good got some modern bits and had to deal with an arrogant ******* seller.

I went to my local one but got there late.

a bloke selling a lot of modern stuff, he had some really knackered mini rigs and a jedi puzzle for sale but didn't even bother asking about price.

went through a box of toys and found 2 90s wrestlers, brett the hitman hart and one of the nasty boys and also that blue coloured he-man which suprisingly is complete all for 50p each.

found a box of toys that another bloke was going through and I could see into his bag of things he'd already bought, mainly toy cars but he did have a droopy mcool in there aswell :lol:

Didn't see any Star Wars. Lots of lego mini figures for sale but not for me.

Found a box of toys that had me hoping for something because I could see last action hero arnie and a wolf gladiators figure but no Star Wars.
