Well I wish there were better news, the next scan came back & the 2 affected areas are showing sings of reducing, which is great news, sadly there is now another area which is showing as "whiting/lightening" in colouration on the scan results, so they are not sure what is going on which is terribly worrying for me as I always find it worse when there is not an accurate diagnosis as at least then you know what you are dealing with, so back to being in the grey area :|

She is looking a lot better & as good as back to normal looks & behaviour wise, but its what you can't see that has me biting my nails, I have not smoked in 2 years & I must have smoked like 20 cigars in the past week.

The next scan is due tomorrow so I am keeping everything crossed for a more normal scan result.

Thank you all for your continued support it mean a lot guys.

Well the scan never happened yesterday & the microbiologist meeting was also cancelled due to staff shortages & an influx of emergency cases, so I was a little peterbed to say the least as I am really on tender hooks hoping for a good scan result this time, good news is she just had it this morning & we are waiting for the results, fingers crossed it will be all clear & she can come home.

Well I know its been a hell of a long time, but I did not want to update this till I knew that I had something concrete to report guys.

A couple of weeks back I had to take Jazzmine back to liverpool for a final scan & examination by the surgeons & I am very happy & hugely relived to be able to say that they have finaly given her the all clear, the surgeon was very thorough when showing me the scan results layer by layer & explaining it to me in great detail (think he had cottoned on by then that I wanted to know everything as I bug them for more info every time I'm there), I also saw the innitial scans & boy were they scary, her barin had literally been pushed back in to her head by some 5cm across by about 2 to 3 cm inward made me realise just how lucky I am to have her with us, even the surgeon said it was pretty much touch & go for a while at first.

Even though they have given her the all clear I have aske for a follow on appointment to be booked for 6 months time to make 100% sure there is no re-growth as I am a little paranoid by nature when it comes to health issues.

I want to thank you all for all your help through this dark time for me & her & a super special thanks to Jorn & Ryan for both doing a really special & very personal piece of art for her & to James for sending her a lovley soft toy all the way from Oz, there really is no place quite like SWFUK & all you SWfukers are the salt of the earth.

Thanks again for helping me through a really rough time guys.

Great news Frank - I am so happy for you both. Six months ago there was no way I could really understand fully what you were going through, but having spent the week after the birth of our daughter worried sick because there was a problem with her liver, I can see just how stressed you must have been. It is awful not knowing enough and not being able to do anything.

Hopefully all is going to turn out great for both of our beautiful little angels and they will keep their Dad's as worry-free as possible
