I am worried sick

I also missed this thread Frank and was shocked yesterday when we spoke, at least she is in a stable condition now and seems like she is on the road to recovery. I hope she makes a speedy one and get out whilst there is still some holidays left.

Like I said yesterday, If you need anything or want something doing don't hesitate to give me a shout, Liverpool is not that far from where I work either mate.

Frank I havent been on here much of late so I have only just caught this.

Im so sorry to hear the news mate, words cant express dude. I hope your daughter gets better soon mate, you know where I am if you ever want to talk buddy. It makes my trivial **** look... trivial.
Best of luck dude

Just caught up with this thread. My thoughts are with you Frank. My boy had to go to Paed Intensive Care when he was a baby and you really can't describe to others the helplessness a really sick child can make you feel. Children make you feel vulnerable because they are so damn important. I hope she continues to do well and the 6 weeks fly by so you guys can put it behind you.

Hey Frank, I didn't know that all of this happened to you and your family. When I saw that you have not been online for a few days I thought you are on vacation, then I sent you 2 PMs which I wouldn't have if I had seen this here in the 1st place. But when I saw you read my PMs and didn't reply I felt that something has to be wrong. Feel bad now since I never check into the off topics and I miss all the real important stuff here that's going on.

First Bram, now your daughter... I feel for you and all my thoughts are with you and your lil girl, Jessie is shocked too.

Keep us posted and I pray to god in hope that all goes well. Bake that cake for the fam when she's home again.

Gutted. :(

Wow. Just seen the thread Frank. Sounds like you and your family have been through a terrible time and the news about the further complications is shocking. I hope that your daughter is now really past the worst. Keep us updated and all the best mate!

Hey

Just read through this. So sorry to hear what's happened as it sounds awful for someone so young. Here's hoping she continues to make a steady recovery back to full health.

And keep giving her home food. Hospital food ain't the greatest and God knows I've had enough of it! :?

Got back last night & answered most PM's I have, but was just to knackered to post anything as its been 600 miles++ on the road over the weekend

Anyhow I won't bore you with details, what I will say is that when I saw my girl yesterday she looked to be back to normal which was a huge relief, she is looking like she normally does & seems to be 100% together mentally & physically, but is not out of the woods as yet, she still has residual build up of puss in both affected areas & will still need 6 weeks of antibiotics 6 times daily, & is having blood tests daily to check the antibiotic & bacteria levels & MRI scans every 5 days to monitor her condition closely to make sure its not re growing.

The really good news is that if it keeps reducing she "may" be able to be put on to oral antibiotics much earlier, so she would then be able to come home

I am keeping everything crossed & want to thank all of you for your support, it means a great deal to me guys!!

Great news mate - really hope that she is on the road to recovery and that she can be back home with her family (and home cooking) as soon as possible

That's great news Frank. Fingers crossed that she'll be home soon and makes a full recovery.

Good news Frank - hope all goes well in the coming weeks for you and your family mate!
