How Much Did You Have As a Kid?

Well i was a bit destructive, i drew on my stuff, buried figures in sandpits and in the garden, parents still find figures every now and again when digging garden lol

I had a complete set of figures, speeder bike, AT-ST, X-Wing, Ewok Catapult and a few of the mini rigs.

Probably about half of all the figures, don't think I had many last 17, then I think I had the Falcon, AT-AT, AT-ST and a speeder bike

Parents split when I was 5 so I ended up quite spoiled. All the SW toys I had were post Empire. Easier to list what I didn't have (definitely didn't have a Tie Interceptor and an Imperial Shuttle). Nothing from my original collection left

I had a few of the smaller vehicles, snowspeeder, cloud car, and the AT AT, figure wise i had a lot of them, every saturday my gran would take me to the local shopping arcade and i got to pick a figure from the toyshop, i remember the display of figures being huge as a small child, very cool memories, i allways wanted the falcon as a kid but never did get one, i made up for that when i was older, first ship i bought when i started collecting again

I had very little as child ( maybe 30 figures, a deathstar, landspeeder, Tiefighter, DV star destroyer, Cantina). All the rich kids had everything....I think now I have achieved my mission to rub it back in their face. :D

Didn't have a great deal, as Mum and Dad were quite strict about it all :(

Had around 20 figures, X-Wing, Snowspeeder and MTV-7 Mini-rigs. Still have all but for 4-5 figures I sold as a teenager. Kept my Pali ESB Snowspeeder box, which I'm still very chuffed with!

Being born in '82 I must have got into Star Wars around the late 80s - a lot of family friends, cousins etc had lost interest by that point so the nearly all of my collection was inherited. Then went to toy shows with my dad in the early 90s and picked up more. I had (and still have) about 40 figures, Falcon, X-Wing, Snowspeeder, AT-AT, AT-ST and some mini rigs.

I remember getting the AST-5, the Snowspeeder and 2 Scout Troopers off the shelf in Woolworths and bizarrely have a strong memory of winning Bib Fortuna at a fairground stall!

I had almost all the figures, and up until mid 1982 every ship, playset and creature. I carried on buying the figures after 1982 but not the ships and playsets, I think the snowpeeder was the last vehicle I bought. Also had all the diecasts and weapons and heaps of non Palitoy stuff.
Thanks to my Mum I still have my figures and cardbacks, but the rest went to the tip years ago.

Great posts.

I googled up the back of a card with 92 figures.

The ones I did not have were

EV-9D9
Caucasian Bespin Guard
Paploo
Warok
Lumat

I don't recall ever having the green Snagletooth. How rare are they?

I did not have Slave 1 or the Emperial Shuttle either. I had the other one, the same design as the Emperial Shuttle, no way near as big.
Does anyone know what that one is called?

Green snaggletooth? Super rare. So rare I've never heard of one.

Blue Snaggletooth is quite rare - only released in the Sears Cantina set. They'll cost you around £90.

Were you thinking of Greedo?

Through swapping, scrounging and insisting that none of my relatives bought me anything but Star Wars figures, I managed to get all of the 65 figures up to ROTJ. Then they released the next wave, which I got some of, and then the last 17/15, of which I only managed 3 - Anakin, Han Carbonite and (thank God for this) Yak Face.

Vehicle and playset wise:

X Wing (old 78 Palitoy one)
Millenium Falcon (best thing ever)
Rebel Transport (2nd best thing ever)
AT-ST
Speeder Bike
Jabba the Hutt
and a few small doodads like AST-5, Wampa, Radar Cannon thingy and CAP-2.

Later when I was a paperboy (7 quid a week!), Woolworth's put on a big sale and I managed pick up a B Wing and a Tri-Logo Ewok Village for a fiver apiece. And a battle damaged TIE fighter and a Rancor for about 2 quid each (I think).

Happy to say I've still got the lot.

As a kid I had almost nothing that I wanted. Ship wise I had a Speeder bike. And I made a AT-ST out of lego as I was desperate to have one. I had fair amount of figures, but most of these had come from jumble sales so none had weapons.

I remember going to someones party and as was the thing in those days when you left the party you got given a goody bag. And in that bag was a Hoth Rebel commander. I was so chuffed to get that. And it's still my favorite figure today.

Now I am all grown up, I have everything I ever wanted including quite a few AT-ST's

Pretty lucky as a kid, I got the original Palitoy Death Star and most of the first 21 (but no Luke or Han). Then the AT-AT, Rebel Transport, Scout Walker, a few mini rigs and more figures.
Sadly I sold the original death star and vehicles but have bought most of it back now which is great. The figures I had as a kid I still have though - never parting with those! :)

What a nice memory 8)

I shared my toys with my younger brother so between us we had...

Millennium Falcon, X-Wing, Ewok Village, Scout Walker, Landspeeder (Jumble Sale), Speederbike, Rancor Monster and loads of mini-rigs. I remember by cousins having the Slave 1, AT-AT etc but it didn't seem to bother me at that age.

Figure wise I had most of them, no doubles and only a few first 12. From the last 17 I have Han Carb, luke stormie, luke jedi, R2 pop-up that I remember.

Happy Days !!

Well i actually had a SNowtrooper and a Wampa as a kid and a Gam. Guard that i got from a yard sale.
I practicly had no star wars, but was spoiled with He-Man and GI Joe's.
I was always intrested in star wars and when i really startted asking my parents for it, it allready dissapeared from the shelves here. Maybe that's the spark that startted me as a collector.

I had a Millenium Falcon, Slave 1, Darth Tie Fighter, Battle damage X-Wing, Snowspeeder, Scout Walker, Speeder bike, Hoth Wampa, Taun Taun, several mini rigs and about 40 figures. The Falcon was my favourite, loved that toy, hours of fun. Also loved the snowspeeder, used to turn all the lights off in my room and run around shooting the guns that lit up. Great memories :D
