For those who haven't seen it here is a 'review' of the dreadful Holiday Special.

I was looking for a review of Robocop 2 to see if anyone else thought it was as bad a film as I did. Anyway, I came across these guys. The humorous review just about cancels out the vomit inducing badness of the Holiday Special clips

robocop 2  thats the 'nuke' one...awful! better than the holiday special mind.
i cant believe they remade robocop btw

Holiday Spesh is the bench mark on which all badness is measured

I recently had a hankering for watching Robo. Got the box set for about £3. Robo 1 is awesome. I love it :)

Robo 2 is terrible. It has a drug called Nuke. A freaky druid drug dealing villain and his 12 year old little **** sidekick. ED209 is now a complete ***** who is foiled by stairs :| Robo is reprogrammed with all these stupid directives that make him a complete tool. He then electrocutes himself to erase the new daft directives by the way  . The brain from the dead druid (killed off by silly bitch Dr.Fox or whatever..) is now in Robo Mk2. Stupidest brain transplant scene ever. Gahh!!! I could go on. Awful awful film ...and Robo 3 is much worse! :x

...and yet, this is nothing compared to the badness of the Holiday **** Special

Please Noooooooooo! Not the SW Holiday Special!

Yes June

Lucas wishes it would go away but it's the foulest **** smelling stench that's ever haunted anyone

I'll reserve judgement on the new Robocock movie. Don't think i'll be spending money to go see it but let me know if it's any good. Looks ****

Agreed, it looks ****. I prefer the raw, visceral look of the original. But I'm amazed who's in the remake, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton and Samuel L Jackson? Anyway, I'll wait for the dvd I think.
Sorry if I've gone off topic, this was about the Holiday special review.

The new Robocop will completely miss all the stuff that made the original awesome.

It will be the biggest piece of **** of all time.

Its true.

Don't fool yourself.

We have been here so many times.

Stop giving them your money.

I wish Robocop was real.

He would make Toytoni humble.

I actually liked robocop 2. I like trashy sci-fi shyte like that, loads of interesting ideas thrown together with unnecessary violence, a swearing murderous child, a filthy science woman and distopian society - and it worked. It was robocop 3 that made him fluffy trying to make that

As for the two tv series, they were utter fecal kebabs. The two animated series weren't much better..

The build up so far on the new one looks bad, but the latest trailer doesn't look awful at all. They appear to be playing with the evolution of the armour. I just hope its nothing like man of steel which was possibly the worse film I've ever seen, and I've seen some bad ones. Great start, but they clearly get bored half way through and turn it into a fight film where millions of peoples lives get ruined then supes decides he won't kill a genocidal maniac, but he does. Ignoring the amount of people he's likely flattened by chucking kryptonians through buildings. Add to that the pain inducing 'strong women' message with Amy Adams, ignoring reality that any human put through what she is put through wouldn't **** their pants, she can kill trained krypton soldiers with a gun she can work... That's just the tip of the turdberg.

In fairness I did watch the whole of Robocop 2, unlike Robocop 3 which just became background noise after the little girl made ED209 'obedient as a puppy'

Part 2 has good and bad parts in equal measure. That kid just needed a slap and there was no explanation why the druid fella was knocking around with him. He was just a mean spirited little kid. My theory that he was there for protection from Robo is just crap really because any normal cop, such as Lewis, would have just kicked his ass. Made no sense.

peter weller wasnt in the 3rd one was he?

i remember going too my local video shop early 90's the was a shelf in the main store with loads of video promo posters customers could have i remember taking loads of robocop 2 ones and child's play 3 and waynes world 2. infact i still jhave the wayne world one, usual suspects and diehard 3 in the attic

No, there was some other dude, who did look a lot like Weller, playing Robo in part 3.

I remember having video shop posters. My room was covered with them - 8 Million Way To Die, Terminator, Beverley Hills Cop, Crocodile Dundee. Had loads. What the hell do kids do these days? When Robocop came out in about 1987 I was 11. When it appeared in the video shop my dad let me rent it out. Watched all sorts of crazy **** like that - Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday The Thirteenth, Predator, Hellraiser. How cool were the 1980's :D
