Ok......Most observations are directed at me In this RS Thread.....(Not full of myself...just know it :wink: )

Anyways.................No worries....I do not want back on RS..........so open the door to the rest of the guys....well If they really want back on that is.

Most comments I make in regards to the moderation on that forum are true. I take nothing back. The anal stay on topic and shutting down threads and banning of members that do not bend to the will of RS are why many of us are not there...but some people where caught up in it and find value in RS. Once again, these are my opinions and should not be held against other members...kinda a big brother mentality if you ask me...but to each his own

I don't believe that Grant, Barry or I deserved to get banned - and I'm not even sure that you did Todd - although I don't know why you got banned before

Both Grant and I tried very hard to reason with Mike and in the end he just stopped talking to us both. There was also little to no punishment for the others involved in the petty arguments (which I agree they were) - so I do think that we were guilty by association

I am not sure who Mike is aiming his comments at but am certain that nothing I have said has been meant in hurtful way - admittedly there has been some 'banter' but what can they expect when we get banned in the manor in which we did.

I would like to return to RS for the simple fact that I am part of the Star Wars community and enjoy being so. I would like to post up limelight's and comment on other peoples. I would also like to buy and sell on there again.

However, I am not sure that I would want to take part in much of the discussion on there as there seems to be a collective of new members that seem to delight in opening card/boxes and promoting reproduction weapons. There has also been all the silliness around Erik and his ridiculous thread, If I was to be allowed to return then I would not be able to pass comment on any of these things !

I will wait to see what the consensus is and really appreciate the support given by fellow collectors. If they do allow us to return then I am happy to abide by any restrictions placed on us

The comments are based on me speaking my mind and sharing my opinion about Mike...the Mods and that forum. This was all over the "Karen" issue for the most part....and this is why many of you were banned. As for me...they just do not care for my brand of humor...opinion...or anything else. I know they read this......................so I am asking that they do not hold my opinions against the rest of you. I would like to point out I am not alone in these opinions. :wink:

I don't wanna start anything but when reading that i remembered how Iain was banned without any reason or justification and when Iain tried to reason with mike he didn't wanna hear it. He tries to come across as the hurt puppy-dog but it is/was/probably always will be that kind of hypocritical, childish, reactionary and heavy-handed, tyrant-like MODing, that he has become so famous for, that gets not nice things said about him on other forums.
But then there is always the argument that you know what it's like there, you know how unfriendly a place it can be and you know it has stricter rules than a prison so if you don't like all that stuff then don't ****ing use the site. Can't really moan when you willingly climb in a chimps cage and end up getting **** thrown at your face.

I think you just hurt someones feelings again. Of course we are saying this here were he can not defend himself from our jibs (I think defend in his mind equals BAN the opposing opinion, which he can not do here)

Very reasoned reply Iain, I hope the Mods on RS see this thread (I'm sure they will) and take your comments on board. I don't see why though if they let you return you should be treated like second class citizens and have restrictions placed on you - I personally think that is out of order.

Possibly there should be an *off topic section on RS where we could all vent or go off topic within reason. Just my 2 pence worth. For what its worth I'd like to see that olive branch stretched out for JoshA too so he could come back here. He was a good laugh. Just my 2 pence worth.
