Hello Folks,

What is the current 'must do' tips if you shipping to US if someone uses Paypal for payment. Is it tracking the most important to cover against any potential claims rather than value/ insurance.

What the most reliable couriers?

Cheers

Jules

Hi Jules are you selling on eBay via the Global Shipping Program? If so then yes would recommend using signed for to send to the depo. After that they will send to the US and deal with the imports etc. If not if your selling direct would still highly recommend signed for and tracking and think it goes on value for insurance etc. For import fees think that will sorted at their end unless you include it in the postage.

Thanks Steve, it is direct. I take it it will need full insurance on shipping if it invoice type PP.

No problem, depends on the value, tracked and signed for if sent via RM should cover it, if remember correctly at the PO will ask for the value and postage is reflected there, not shipped to the US in about 2 years so might have changed. Once sent best let them know there might be import charges at their end.
