Help fast :)

Really good to hear some money's turned up, he sounds like a very strange character. I've just had a recent issue with a purchase so I'm hoping Paypal will step in if things don't go well.

It's so annoying that there are people like this out there when the true collectors tend to be a honest bunch who just want things as they're described and with no hassle. Let's hope that doing things through Paypal, which tends to cover the buyer, will thin these sharks out.I think It's worth the bit of commission they charge at times just for peace of mind although I do think ebay could lower their charges a bit seeming it's the same company.

Personally, I always think the worst of any seller on eBay until I get the goods - I'm naturally a distrustful person! This guy is a funny one though, probably just lazy but could be a rip off - I dunno!

Apart from that sausagefingersfordy (see eBay cocks thread) I've been okay (touch wood - waiting for a high price item bought on the 25th Novemeber that I haven't got yet!) when buying vintage SW stuff.

Big believer in karma, treat people as you want to be treated. I mean I sold a load of vintage Star Wars stuff (about £400 worth) to a guy in the north of Scotland during the summer and he asked if I could wait a month before posting it, I said no problem if he paid straight away (which he was happy to do) and then he never got back to me despite sending many eBay messages - eventually tracked him down and sent him all his packages. I could have not bothered and resold everything, but what goes around comes around (I'm sounding like a ****ing hippy now!)
