Help fast :)

just read this thread Scott and iain, this guy sounds like a right knob. hes prob a spoilt little rich kid by the sounds of it and has been too lazy to shift his arse into gear.

However if he still is playing silly buggers then id certainly go down the theft route and make a complaint to your local police . they would then send the complaint to scotland to be investigated. they may well not lock him up for questioning but they would certainly interview him umder caution at the very least

im sick to my back teeth with scum like him!!!

Honestly mate, I am one of the fairest people you will meet - and will give practically anyone the benefit of the doubt ... but I don't like to be taken advantage off.

Massive believer in 'treat others how you wish to be treated yourself'

I just bought 2 figures from a guy who had just bought a Scout Walker MIB off him. I could contact him. Any questions you would like to ask this dealer about his transaction?

It could be that Mark has had a major issue in the last week.

It is interesting that the email address that you paid him through was different to the two he gave me - all points to something a bit dodgy

Still I hope that you get your Lando Grant, but I wouldn;t hold my breath

If I ever buy anything from someone through a forum and they want it paid as a gift or pay the extra 4 percent, then like most people, I opt to pay as a gift to save money.

However if its through ebay I never pay as a gift as they have no right to ask you, unless I know the person, because unfortunately once you hit gift and paypal lose their cut, you lose all rights.

Just had this reply back from Mark

"hi, its really strange nothing has arrived, but i posted out items a few weeks ago recorded delivery and the guy hasnt picked them up from the post office and other items no feedback on, so i can't explain royal mail or ups, the item were posted and so was the yoda, you have opened a dispute and also you are threatining me with the police? and messaging me regarding other buyers transactions? i would like you to message me when they arrive and with an appology "

My gut feeling is to believe that he has posted these - otherwise why waste your time defending if you were pulling a scam? Anyway, lets hope that arrive and I can give him the apology he wants!

Iain and others.

If he posted it RECORDED delivery, ask him for the tracking number. He will have one if he has sent it RECORDED!! If he cant give you one he's bullshitting. I like how he's blaming Royal Mail and UPS like most people do, always the delivery companies fault. I cant see it being the delviery companies fault that ALL 3 of his parcels to guys on this forum havent turned up.

Like I said, demand the tracking number from him. If any of you manage to get one, give it to me and i'll check the tracking at work as our system is more detailed than the Royal Mail website.

Chris

Tried that one Chris - says he didn't send mine recorded (God knows why?)

It is a strange one - there is no way that if they were posted when he says (last Tuesday) then they should take this long - but why continue to profess innocence ?

My gut feeling is this, he never posted them in the first place, he was as nice as pie too me too, the guys a wanker plain and simple, he hasn't replied too my two PM's maybe the talk of the police has changed his mind and he has posted them now, or maybe he hasn't , why on earth did he block you from biding Iain? One reason of course the guy is fake, a good one I must add he had me fooled for a while, well I've learnt a valuable lesson. If the items turn up bonus if not we've been had by this insect.

Wow
Reading this sucks, sorry for you guys getting scammed here. Sadly however, if you collect something for long enough then you are going to get burnt at some point, sadly I believe that is becoming a statistical probability. It does make you long for ten years ago when eBay was a god send and there were very few 'con men' out there, I believe someone smarter than I wrote something about the price of progress.
Anyway this one does read strangely. As Iain has said the standard con is take the money and run and be nowhere near the postcode when people realise they have been had. This person seems like they are more driven by being in the middle of events and creating situations like this than entirely with the money, the guy could be hanging about to enjoy the fallout a bit or because he has other cons going on and he just protecting himself until they are done, or he genuinely had intentions to send the goods but for a number of reason he hasn't, sold the items several times and got into a pickle or there is a world where this guy is just not playing with a full deck and might believe all he has said, or he could be saying to build up evidence in a he said she said scenario, which is really what we have here.
In any event my rambling doesn't change the fact that you guys are all out of pocket and this sort of thing really needs to be shut down and these guys called out.
But maybe the items do all arrive and I hope they do, I did have a bit of lego take three weeks to reach me from the sender a few weeks ago, so you do get the odd delay here and there, but maybe not to this extent.

Anyway this sucks and I feel for you. Just felt like saying.

Just to jump back abit, how did the seller send you an Paypal Gift invoice? To your e-mail account or through ebay somehow? I'm assuming you can't through ebay itself?? ...

I'm probably missing the point here
