Having Surgery

typical teacher, have nearly 3 weeks off on christmas holiday and then as soon as its back to work,,,,,"my hip hurts"...

hope you get better soon mate, does it restrict anything????????

Sadly won't know if the op has been successful for about 6 weeks, or why the surgeon changed his mind in the middle of the op.

I've been carrying this pain for about 15 years, so was longing for it to be cured!!!

Here's hoping

As for the restrictions, I have to walk everywhere with crutches...oh and I found out today i can't actually shag at the moment. (The crutches kept getting in the way)

Your going to let some crutches get in the way of your shagging LOL oh brother :?
What do you mean he changed his mind in the middle of the op? Realise he was doing the wrong hip did he?
Hope it's a quick six weeks mate ;)

Well it's more the excrutiating pain that kinda takes the fun out of it

At the moment I'm totally in the dark as to what happened during surgery. Won't know for 6 weeks.

At least I'll be off the crutches in another 9 days or so. 8)

Harsh mate, bet the cold isn`t helping. At least you have the Dr Who`s to work through

They won't tell you for six weeks what happened during the op
Hope it wasn't anything to serious!
Thats qick as to be off the crutches..well a lot quicker than I thought anyway :)
Nice one Gaz 8)

Got my appointment date this morning... 24th of Feb. So I'll be in the dark till then. However spoke to my GP today, and he wasn't happy about what happened so has contacted the surgeon to find out sooner.

Had dressings changed this morning and nearly passed out due to the pain :?

I really wonder what's up with the NHS
