Just been moving stuff around for decorating and dropped a star case.....my new R2 came through the bubble at the bottom also breaking off the bottom of the bubble....BOLLOCKS!!!

That sucks. Bubbles can be brittle from age and break with very little effort. Sorry to hear about the damage.

Pushed the broken bit back on....it still displays OK but that's not the point.

Sounds like it was the icing on the cake of a totally **** day - sorry to hear about your R2.

I was cursing yesterday when my dinner plate slipped out my hand as I was trying to open a door at the same time - SMASH!! Plate shattered and no dinner, but would take this every time over what happened to your R2.

As was mentioned before at least we have our health

Have had the odd minor mishap myself, like when my brother gave me a fine 12" Vader he found at boot fair for 50p. I proudly put him on the mantlepiece which he then fell on causing a large chip in his helmet. Must be so galling to happen to a prize piece, gutted for you mate.

I've never had a mishap touch wood. Closest I came was during a blazing row with the ex she chucked my 12 back han out of a first floor window. Star Cases are very aerodynamic luckily and it floated down into a bush, besides it was not in great nick and I was too stuborn to show a reaction. When she made a move toward the AFA 12 back leia though, I screamed "dont you touch the ****ing leia!". That actually killed the argument with laughter!
