Hi guys, I'm knew to this forum so please be gentle!

About two years ago, I happened upon this little fellow in a local second hand store. Finding the livery a rather different to that of the norm, I decided to take him home. He's been sat with my collection since, but have always wondered where the unusual colour scheme came from. I haven't been able to find any information online and figured you guys could help.

The colour is definitely production original and not through old age or poor environmental conditions. Any ideas?

I do have many pictures, however I'm at a loss as to how to add them into this post on an iPhone. Any advice on that would also be great

Many thanks guys

Sounds like R3-Y2 from the Hasbro Saga collection 2005 astromech droid pack series 2

Thanks for that! Unfortunately, this guy is larger scale model at around 6-7" tall.

Not letting me post pictures as the file size is too big. I'll try and find a way of doing this later today

You will need to use a hosting site such as photobucket and share the link or use a file resizing site to get under the file size limit.

As for a larger model I'm at a loss but curious so if you can get a picture up that would be great

A workaround for this is to email the photo to yourself and choose a smaller size (eg medium) and then upload that.

This is a Kotobukiya one, is it like this?

Sounds like it's the r2-a6 from episode 1 12" action figure range Google images R2-A6 :)
That would definitely be the right scale to come out at 6/7"
