Good News!!!

Got some bad news today about my dirty squatter (cancer).

I saw my consultant about my most recent scan results and unfortunately it shows progressive cancer rather then indolent, basically a tumour in my stomach has grown 4x bigger then it originally showed ive had cancer for 2 and a 1/2 years and have had nearly a years worth of treatment but it continues to wreak havoc with me.

Its looking like i will need a stem cell transplant.

I understand how you feel, I know what it's like. Are things I can't say, but what I can say is I wish you all the best wishes I can, and I'm sure plenty of the other guys will feel exactly the same way.
Keep your chin up buddy, genuinely send you all my best wishes, if you want my opinion you are obviously a strong willed and brave guy, posting shows that, and that positive attitude will only help

I am deeply sorry to hear that mate.

Please try and remember that cancer is beaten in the mind and that your mind needs to stay strong for your body to heal.

I take great comfort in the miracle's that are performed everyday these days by doctors fighting cancer.

So now is the time to stay strong and kick the **** out of that motherfucker. While this journey is not easy, I have no doubt that you will beat it and become stronger than ever. No ****ing doubt about that.

I can't even imagine how you must be feeling. You on your own tonight?
I don't know what to say, but i just wanted to say, something, anything. I'm sorry, i'm not very good with words.
You know that everyone on here will be wishing you a speedy recovery. I guess now the hospital know what they are dealing with, they can tackle it head on.
It must feel like a monumental challenge to you mate, and something which obviously can't be fixed over night.
If you ever need to chat etc, there will always be someone here logged on. I know whenever i log on there are always the usual suspects logged on too.

Thanks for your support chap's, it'll be a waiting game for 2 weeks i see my consultant on the 22nd of this month, this allows him time to speak to his consultant buddies to make sure this is the best option.

I'm not looking forward to this treatment. Even though it's fascinating stuff. :lol:
