Somewhat ironically you posted that on the very day i buried my dad (hence my complete absence from here this month). He died from prostate cancer after fighting it for about eleven years.
It's truly a cunty disease, as Browny says.

Thanks chaps, I've got a PET scan on Friday, which is basically a CT scan but they inject you with radioactive stuff. I have to stay away from children and pregnant women for 6hours after.

Mate, i met up with a friend tonight whos beaten the f##k out of that bastard 3 times.
He's the same old hard ass hero, i've known for 24 years and he's now finally been allowed to fly the Chinook helicopter again.
He still has regular scans, but things are OK.
2 Years ago i said goodbye to him on Xmas eve thinking i'd never see him again.
He had the mindset to say bollocks to you grim reaper! The government have now had the decency to recognise his strengths and quality.
