The longer you collect the fewer 'new things' there are to see, but this one here is a new one on me (sadly not owned by me, but I have the owners blessing to share it here on SWFUK)...

Anyone here seen one of these before?

Here you go Matt: http://www.raumhafen.de/cgi-bin/showp.pl?pic=/galerie/starwars/sw/dkdm&titel=Die%20Kraft%20der%20Macht

There were about 4 or 5 auctioned off by Vectis around 2009 but they were pretty battered. Those were bought by a guy who tried to flip them to a bunch of big name collectors by emailing all the people he found contact information for on the archive  I think he eventually sold them for a loss on eBay or to Blarc or something equally entertaining

Thanks for the link Joe, and good to hear the flipper didn't prosper. I imagine if they were for sale today they'd fare rather better. I think they are so visually striking, and lots of potential for individual focus collectors to find one with their particular character on too.

I think the following thread about that particular flipper shows just how much the hobby has changed in the last 5-6 years: http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1042968/ (there is a link in there which leads back to the SWF thread too)

Back then, if you turned up and started throwing money around just to win auctions in an attempt to sell the exact same stuff back to other collectors you would just get called out & banned wherever you went, effectively blacklisting yourself. Nowadays it seems like it's an every day occurrence and many people just accept it (and the guys that do it) as part of the "hobby"..

Anyways, back on topic! I agree with you that those Kraft Der Macht multipacks are really gorgeous items and there are some great combos out there, glad I could help on the link. Wolfgang's site is old but still full of great info/pics.

They're certainly interesting and no doubt rare, but I must admit I think they're pretty ugly. Blister packed items are a pain, they're difficult to display/store, break really easily, and tend to go yellow even faster than MOC bubbles do. I have a few blister packed video games, and I just keep them wrapped in bubble wrap because they're so damn fragile

WOW I really like those especially the speeder bike one I bet they would great if in MINT condition.

Does anyone know how many variations / different ones there are of these multipacks..?

Thanks for the share.

Some of those old RS threads are legendary. They're pretty cool, nice to see different items for a change. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not an expert on punches, but this one has what I believe is called the 'UFO' right? Is that significant at all in terms of Euro production?

that's a hell of a thread, Joe. Any sense what the guy's name was that did that if he is still around? I didn't see a name - hopefully I didn't miss it.

First time I've laid my eyes on that beauty.

Lars I bet you don't have one of these

Fantastic piece. I've been after the German INT 4 for a long time - very rare indeed

Thanks for the great story Joe and all the links :D I love the story about this guy buying and try to sell them to some big collectors just to earn some extra money. I hate when people do that, buy and then sell only to earn money. Why not leave the items for collectors who want and need them in there collection. Sounds like he learned his lesson
