There is a lot of coo for that figure. So far I have found 17
I see the 'CoO' differently.

To me there are 6 variants: Hong Kong, HK (& it's no CoO counterpart), Macau(& it's no CoO counterpart) & Ledy. With limbs made in mould pairs that is 4 possible CoO versions of the Hong Kong variant, 4 X HK, 4 X Macau....

Then paint 'variations' from there. The face detail Rog researched but his pictures died with webshots :(

'Mould' Hong Kong has EPM (ejector pin marks) on front upper thighs.

Another pig 'oddity'

I think it is ok you see it differently

Great post AJ....thanks for the comments and picture. Must keep an eye out for that. Does it appear on any particular figure.?
Thanks again
Jeff

Yes I have only found them on a Hong Kong coo and I have also only found them with the no. 2 under the foot. I have never seen other no.

Cool, thanks Lars. Hopefully should have a Hong Kong COO figure update soon :D

PS: Sent you those pic's again...Hopefully should be with you now

I hope this time I get the pictures

H.K figure leg markings:

On closer inspection of the COO markings on the two H.K figures, I noticed a few small differences between the two. The following shot hopefully highlights this.

First up, the Dark brown pants, Darker skin figures markings appear to be a lot more defined. The "C" copyright mark is a good example.
Next up, the LFL stamping on the light green figure has a noticeable gap between the 'L' and 'F' letters. The darker figures stamp is much closer together.

Also, the Dots on the H.K stamp, left leg, are quite a bit smaller in the Darker figure.

Finally, there is a distinctive difference between the two date stamp on each figure. One has the '1980' stamp in a straight line. The Darker figures stamp is staggered, with the '80' part lower than the start, as can be seen here.

It is 4 families btw...AJ is totally right!

H.K.
Hong Kong
Macau
No coo (LL)

but if I remember right there is more then 2 versions on some ...plus the right leg and left leg combinations....

a complicted one, especially since Macau COO has much "use" to it....it can be clear, half gone, even more gone and totally invisible!

Cheers

Wolff

Hong Kong figure variant:

Next up, Hong Kong COO figure. Full upwards facing Hong Kong stamp on left leg. Couple of unique differences with this figure, discussed below.

Leg markings:

Ejector pin markings:

As highlighted by aussiejames, One unique feature with the Hong Kong figure is the presence of Ejector pin markings (EPM) on the front, upper legs. These don't appear on other variants.

Paint spray application:

Another feature as discussed earlier in the link provided by Wolff, is the paint spray application to the eyes of the figure. As can be seen here, the Hong Kong figure has Yellow paint application and then Green sprayed eyes.

I will post comparison shots with H.K and Macau COO figures later. I'm not 100% sure if this is a unique feature with Hong Kong figure variants. The Macau COO figure has very similar eyes.?

Eye paint:

As discussed, here is a comparison shot with the 3 figures. It would appear that the Macau COO figure has the same paint spray application as the Hong Kong figure. Yellow paint and then sprayed Green eyes. It is quite noticeable on the H.K COO variant that the yellow paint was applied and the eyes unpainted. Just wondering if anyone has come across this?

No COO figures:

Picked up three of these variants. A number of slight differences between the figures including paint application and markings. (Discussed further below)

IMG_20150220_135144.jpg

All three have the same LFL markings on the right leg.
IMG_20150220_135157.jpg

Paint application:

Two of the No COO figures come with Light Grey armour. One has Dark Grey armour as can be seen here
L-R: Dark, light, light.
IMG_20150220_135036.jpg

Close up with darker figure on the right this time.
IMG_20150220_135058.jpg

Overhead shot shows that the difference in paint applications extended to armour on the Helmet. Once again Darker figure is on the right again.

Leg markings:

The two light armour figures have slightly different No COO legs. One has a smooth surface with little dots, while the other has a raised scarring on the leg. There again appears to be 4 small dots on this scarring, not sure if this is a COO that has been removed? Any advice on this would be great :D

Figure with 'smooth' COO left leg:

Second figure with Scarred COO left leg:

The 4 dots mentioned are clearly visible in this shot:

Macau COO figure update:

Currently have two Macau COO figures. Both are very similar, armour colour etc. The couple of small differences between the two are in the leg markings, Discussed below.
Here's a side by side shot:
IMG_20150220_162537.jpg

As stated, the Macau COO on the legs are quite different. You can see the one on the right is almost missing the 'M'. The figure on the left has an almost 'melted' look to the area surrounding the COO, which has much greater definition...
IMG_20150220_162747.jpg

The LFL markings are slightly different aswell. One has straight stamp while the other, shown below on the left, has the second 'L' at an angle...

No COO scarring:

Here's another shot that shows the raised 'scarring' on the left leg of one of the No COO figures, discussed above. Can be seen a bit better...Apologies for the slight blurring...

New Macau COO figure:

Picked up a third Macau COO figure today. Different LFL markings and Dark grey armour variant.
