FOR SALE. Bespoke figure display cabinets - ONE OFF TO SELL

You have to be careful if making anything bigger. A bigger cabinet means the front would be bigger, there for, higher cost, and more weight. The heavier the item, the thicker the framework would need to be, and the means of wall mounting it would be much harder. Also, if the figures were displayed in front of that particular back, do you not think the figures would look lost, and overpowered by all that colour in the background?

Also, all the AFC cabinets are machine made, and mass produced. All mine are hand made and hand painted. I could make a bigger cabinet and produced somthing like that, if anyone on here could get a poster made of the backdrop, I could work it in.

Very very cool 8)

Just need to get a few things out of the way and i might have one. The colour background or something similar would look great

The cabinets look fantastic! If only my display room wasn't a loft conversion I could have these on the walls... if you have website I'll put a link from Star Wares site to yours!

Mate, thats really kind of you, but i'm not that technically minded
Really kind though

Short on ideas for the design so will wait until others come up with something. I like the current colour scheme. It's fairly neutral so the lads could get away with displaying in the home somewhere  Anything too garish might put off the Mrs. The idea of a yellow back sounds good in theory, but as you say the colour might be too much. Plus it would need to be yellow and black to work.

Ideas anyone? I thought maybe a corridor scene out of the death star. Just no idea how that would be applied to the cabinet

I played around with a few ideas already, and if the background is too bold, it detracts from what you put inside as it looks too busy. I've made a stencil of the mandalorian symbol, and the original star wars font.

Hi chaps. Just a quick update on these. I have recently started a new job, and my spare time has dwindled a bit. I will struggle to make these going foward (not that I have sold any, anyway :( ). I am going to sell off the one in the picure cheap. If anyone going to iain's next saturday is interested in buying it, I can bring it over.

£85 will buy it!

The cabinet looks amazing Neil.
I would like my loft done in this sort of way on a much larger scale. Might have to hire you for the weekend in the future.

They look wicked mate, really like the glass shelves and artwork. I made something sort of similar for my figures. Have you thought about a mirrored back? I had a medical cabinet with a mirror in the back, it looks great cos you can see the back of the figures without taking them out. If I hear of anyone after something like this I'll hook you up.
