Right, evening guy's. I appreciate I mentioned this a while ago, but I have now finished and costed my display cabinets.

The cabinets themselves fit the whole loose run, 9 MOC's or 9/12 12" figures.
They are made of 3/4" MDF, with a rebated back panel. The shelves are 6mm, fully edge polished glass.
All the fittings are chrome, and are obviously supplied. The glazed door has a 5mm lip around all sides, and hooks over the framework, and clips in place for easy access to the display.

The cabinet fixes to the wall with 4 screws and plugs (supplied).

The finish of the cabinet is totally customised to specific requirements. You can have any colour scheme, and providing I am able to do it, any back panel design.

So, this is an example of the finished item. Remember, the choice of colour is yours.

The cabinets are £149. There's not huge profit in these, but are far cheaper than the others i've seen available. They are very sturdy, good quality well finished items. The value of the figures inside, make the price of the cabinets very good value.

I can make similar cases for larger items, such as the playsets etc, on request.
I have left enough of a lip on the door, to make adding LED lights an option also.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

I'll be honest and say, postage is something i've not given much thought to as yet, but i'll sort something out.

Thanks
Neil

Looks good. Is there any way of producing a cabinet that can use the digital print background from the AFC website. They're cabinets look good but seem overpriced and the shipping is a killer.

Having seen this in the flesh today (you can thank me for the excellent pictures  ) I can honestly say that they look amazing - the finish is great and these are very well made. The fact that Neil can almost bespoke them to any requirement means that you can have something unique for an off-the-shelf price

Cheers Jez, very kind.
Wayneg - I can reproduce almost any image upto about 12x12".

 Thanks Iain. Anyone not having seen Iain, you can see his reflection in one of the pic's.

Yeah - I noticed that - looks like I have muscles like Scott

Iain are you concentrating so much that your tongue is sticking out? Apparently I do that when cutting the grass.
Anyway, back on subject; lovely cabinets guys 8)

I was thinking of applying this print to the back of the display as I like the idea of having the same image as on the cardback -

The dimensions for the image are:

34" x 51"

You can see it used on the Action Figure Cabinet website at http://www.figuredisplay.com

First of all, let me say WOW!! great work and just really really awesome! :p :p

about the background, as with the figure cardback colors,, means you wanna place each and every figure right in front of it's own color. I'm not sure that will work with this case, since the figures are not just displayed side by side, but a litle in front of each other, right? If this will fit, then it's a great option!

The fact the background is customisable is just great. Any other idea's except that Rebel logo? What about the yellow/orange background used on cardbacks?

If Neil is making bespoke sizes then he could do this, looks well within his abilities, if he decides he wants to do this design....

not criticizing Neil! not at all, he can probably make things with his eyes closed and one hand tight to his back....where the Lord blessed me with two left hands :D

again, I really like these kind of community / fan made items. A really great initiative!

 Wasn't suggesting that you were, it was more of a question to Neil about whether he thinks he could do this design.
