First MOC Figure - Now and Then

Definitely not my first MOC (I think that was Han Hoth), but my first I really have a clear memory of opening as a child was 4-LOM, can literally still remember the smell (is that weird or do any others remember 'that new SW smell?) of busting him open, even all these years later.

First MOC collected as a proper grown-up was Lando Skiff, bought with a lightly battered card and lifting blister; can't believe its stayed attached all these years. If I ever get an upgrade, I wouldn't sell him though.

Still have both today :) ... sadly only 4-LOM and a Biker Scout survived my teenage car-boot cull of my childhood collection

For me the first in childhood was either a 12 back Sand People or a 12 Back Chewie, they were very close to each other (I think m 6th birthday in 1978 - is that possible?).
When I started collecting again back in 2003, it was a Palitoy Klaatu, which I mad the mistake of paying $50 from the US, even though they were ten a penny back then. Even with the recent price hike, I doubt it´s worth that now. Oh well, live and learn...

A few people mentioning smells, i find it fascinating that a smell can take you back all those years, i have one myself, my dad took me to the local toy shop mid 80s and we bought the vehicle maintenance thing and also a speeder bike. the woman who served us had a very ditinctive perfume on and still to this day when i smell it it takes me right back. i've not yet had the guts to ask the person whos walked past me wearing it what perfume it is, mainly cos its a bit weird and also i know i would go and buy some and want to smell it all the time and it just wouldnt be the same after that

I can not remember my first MOC I had back then but last year bought my first one again - Gamorrean Guard Trilogo on here :D
