Right....a friend of a friend and all that
For example,
Someone driving a rental car in Australia, Melbourne
Had 2 speeding fines and a parking fine
The 2 speeding fines were 1 day apart, this person appealed and one fine was rescinded but the other stayed.
The person in question has returned to the UK and received a letter from Victoria Police saying the fine has increased and must be paid.
My question is the obvious one, if unpaid what happens ( as a certain person is doing what young people do, and is not overly bothered, so that young persons dad is worried now...and will end up paying up to make sure there isn't an issue )
Any advice welcomed
Ethically I know what I need to do, but would like some factual advice if there is any, so I may parentally point out the error of the young persons ways
Thanks in advance
