fb prices thread

Congrats on the sale Dan and to think people moaned like f**k on FB when I listed and sold my spare for 80 shipped.

Exactly. I sold one on echo base for £76 posted recently and it drew a few comments (sold in 5 minutes). I always said despite what you might think these buyers do know what they are doing and it's their choice completely. Some people spend £120 on a night out. Fair play I say.

Im tempted to buy off ebay then flip on the fb vintage auction straight away. I can then finally buy a han hoth trilogo moc 8) with the profit mwahahaha

Someone has just listed a loose Taiwan Fett for £70, yes £70 plus fees and postage! Mental. Really hope it doesn't sell.

He has a painted helmet listed for £50 and the £70 appears to just be a mint standard Taiwan

Ha ha, you should see some of the back slapping going on at the minute for paying £200 plus for Meccano 20 back Jawas and £100 for one with a hole in the bubble

Please can someone post a link to this place on the facebook interwebz so I can list my wares for sale there!

Seriously mate, you can clean up. I sold my Luke Stormtrooper black blaster for £115 plus £5 postage recently. I think that a record price.

Not sure cleaning up is the way to go, the fast sales are good but people tearing the arse out of it because they know they can isn't a good thing. And to clarify I'm not suggesting you were tearing the arse out of it with that blaster, it was an auction so there must've been two impatient buggers out there

All last 17 are going up and have been consistantly for the last 6 months and i think its only going to get worse up to christmas many figurrs like lando generals reach 100 pound consistantly .Warok 65/70 there fetching mega money and theres no signs of coming down .

There's been a considerable increase of 'collectors' coming into the game lately... all looking for that bargain. It's looking like the ones in the know are making the most of it and the noobs are paying well over the top for something they think they are getting a good deal on.

It looks like this is going to be the standard now over there... eBay is starting to look cheaper again.

It's getting to the stage where loose figures are going for more than an MOC version. And graded figures are going for more than the MOC version.

That doesn't make sense to me, perhaps I'm getting too old for this kind of thing now ...
