Yeah I figured they were a bit too tight and the cape wasn't smooth enough.
If I split the lot up he was less than .80p
So not too worried

What do you think about this vinyl cap jawa - looks a little fishy to me...?

If you're selling a VCJ and it's real you make sure you have lots of decent pictures up. You DON'T stick up five ****** blurry ones and a two line description. If it's not fake, the seller is an idiot!

Bleach job or a custom mould ?,, probably go with custom mould,, there is a guy on RS doin them so it must not be hard.
this isnt in the right colour for his ones, if i remember correctly.

But as your site suggests you know all this already,, cool site BTW.

So Im guessing a few people saw this on the bay??? :|

One pricey custom me thinks?

Don't understand this - who buys this sort of crap.

I don't think that you can blame the seller too much as she did post all of the responses at the bottom as well as coming onto the RS Forum.

It just amazes me that people can buy something like this - which is so easy to fake - from a seller on ebay who clearly has no background to the piece

He knew the item was fake and sold it as genuine. There is not even mention of being "unsure" (that old con) so i think you can blame the seller quite a bit. This is tantamount to a scam.

Oh dear. Well at least you can spot that one a mile off!

i don't know about that. i think it requires further close inspection

It would also help if i had them in my hands before I gave an opinion!

Trying out my MOC assessment skills.

This is a fake, right?

i am a million miles from and expert but yeah i reckon it is,

3 reasons.

1. Too good to be true.

2. no one sells a SW 12 back in that condition with a starting price of a few euro.

3. the star wars logo on the back is chopped at the top.

either way ,, avoid.

This looks real to me. I have 2 SW mocs and the logos on the back are very differently positioned. This is common.
High end Mocs are occasionally started at .99p or 4.99 etc cos the seller knows they'll reach the expected price and probably feels the low starter will get more interest.
I'm not 100% on this but those are my first impressions.

This looks real to me  You can even see the ghosting on the edge of the bubble where it was stuck to the card and it has flaked away. Though i can't quite see the waffle....I think its real.

Hey Emiel, yeah Id probably go with Neil and Pete on this one. It looks ok to me. The Star Wars logo on the reverse of the card looks ok to. I have had a couple look like that in the past. It looks very nice Steve Ill admit but maybe not too good to be true.

Id also like a better pic of the waffle pattern but first impressions are good. High feedback seller too.

You interested dude?

Looks good to me too, I have an AFA85 3PO and the bubble, footer, card all look good. Only dodgy thing is the SW logo cut through on the back, although my Luke 12bk has about 0.1mm from top of logo to top of card. Agreed sellers (myself included) start at 99p because the MOC usually goes for its value. Although, tbh I have only done that with graded MOCs so ppl can be reassured the MOC is genuine.

Haha, no, just trying to hone my newbie wizardry skills.

I concede it must be real.

Ha guess you are honing your skills quicker than me.
So pete is it normal that the text would be chopped like that .

Ah well I did say i was a million miles from an expert.

It's my feeling, yes. I can't say i've definitely seen one with that kind of bleed but i only own 2 and they are both very differently positioned which leeds me to believe others are likewise. Also, if someone was faking this they'd not have let that happen. Especially a fake of such high quality.
