Well have been holding a multi-pack for one of the members here for a while & put it in one of those famously stupid safe places.

Just sent him this email, but figured I would share as its always good to hear such stupidity when its not you thats being stupid, have a giggle on me guys -

I AM A ****ING TOOL!!!! just spent 2 bloody hours looking for that goddamn multi pack for you, re organised the bedroom so I could one by one transfer each box from the display room as I checked & double checked each one for it, started off by checking the display cabinet with all my MP's in as that the last place I remember having it, checked every box in the display room, then moved it all about & re checked, then back to the display cabinet 3 times, checked all my other displays just in case & back to the display room after clearing the bedroom & the chore of checking each one again in infinite detail & nothing/zip/nichts! I swear I was just about to ask you if you wanted a refund untill I find it, drove me potty it has, then in desperation I re checked the display cabinet & it dawned on me - have you ever put something somewhere so safe, a place you know its easy to find but will not get damaged no matter what, only for it to turn into a place so safe you never find the dam thing again? well this was that times ten ahhhhhhhhhhhh! anyway the dawning was that the display cabinet is on legs & I had tucked it under there for "safekeeping" right D'oh!

Got to laugh or you'd bloody cry, good thing is the display room is cleared in readiness for building some shelves, always a silver lining :)

As a matter of fact...it has happened with a few bits I had of yours you wanted to go out..they got mixed into my collection and it took me hours to find them.

In my youth I was always hiding puff at the end of a session as the paranoia set in. Only problem was the hiding places were so obscure I could never find the stuff....

Weed would always turn up in the strangest places. I remember going fishing a few times, opening up the tackle box by the lake and finding a bag with a very dry spliff or two left from my last session months before...

The funniest thing about it was I always remembered struggling to get something too smoke while I was oblivious that what I wanted was in my tackle box

I bought a handkerchief for my suit other day.Put it in a small bag then put it in either one of three places I would find it.One of them was on top of draws which was last choice as wife would have moaned as clutter. Anyway after smashing house to bits on day of wedding I found it in another carrier bag ..............in dust bin lol.

It was a j bond theme wedding (dont ask)and a handkerchief was cheaper then a tux lol

Puts a whole new spin (er) on doing a line, take care not to get reeled in and hooked
Making a rod for your own back IMO
