EU books and Comic Chat

Loved CE thought CE2 was good but not to the same standard. Haven't picked up CE3 yet. Was getting fed up with the postponing of release for this.

Enjoyed legacy vol. 1. Cade is a very edgy character!

Darth Bane I assume not some Cad Bane comic?

If so, yes great read. Was a bit disappointed with the beetle armour idea, but what an ending to the third book. Very interesting idea of how a Sith could beat death.

I see the next Dark Times and the First of the New Star Wars volumes have gone up on the dark horse site but not on amazon yet.

^have you read crimson empire 3 that came out last year, I was worried it was going to be a cash in using the crimson name but really liked it.

Yes, not as good as 1 or 2 and the artwork was shocking!!

See I really liked ce three, thought better than the second...

The bane trilogy is one of my favourite eu pieces, the whole thing is just amazing

Yes Darth Bane

Fantastic story line at the start...son of a miner etc then it just got better and better...yep. Beetle armour was a bit daft, but as you say brilliant end with Sith renewal
More bane I say

Take a look at this from the author, interesting, but then right at the end....door is open....think we need a continuation run of these books. Brilliant read

Yeah I've read that before. I initially thought that (spoiler!!! b won) but didn't think for a second he continued to Sidious. I don't like gaps in the timeline and would like to see what happened to Zannah/Cognus

Shadow of Yavin is now up on pre-order on amazon.co.uk - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-1-Shadow-Yavin/dp/1616551704/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1366810139&sr=1-1&keywords=star+wars

Got the new exact comic...it's interesting... The art is no where near the standard of the first series.... And a solo kid not been known.... Hmmm

Is it just me or is Ben Skywalker the most dull and un interesting character ever? Nothing about him makes me want o read more. He's also ade a negative knock on to Luke too by asking him want to become a better Dad instead of fighting evil.

Busy on FOTJ Omen. This whole Maw thing, with black holes etc is just crap so far.

Is it just me... But do you guys read these books mercilessly, I just love em

Zahn tie in would be awesome I hope it happens

Unfortunately I don't. I read so much - going camping a lot and have lots of free time - that SW books isn't my be and and end all. Had Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time for about 10 years and still on book 3!.

Check my limelight and you'll see about 1/2 of what I have. Haven't bought any SW figures for a few weeks so will get a couple of books soon to tide me over. I've got 5 or so SW paperbacks still to read.

Got to admit, I do read other books usually autobiographies, although read a couple of Bear Grylls ( not novels) which were good
The hobbit is one of my all time faves, but will read philosophy and other books, but got to say for escapism and pure fun the SW books deliver always

Keep em comin I say
