Lovely to see some nice opinions and some rational ideas, I appreciate people are skeptical but Im pleased there is a good balance of thought regarding this.

Anyway just to let everyone know I have now listed this item on Ebay with a reserve price based upon some of the offers I received, both on here and elsewhere. I dont want to openly discuss why I decided to list on Ebay, I hope it finds a home with a loving collector, Im not gunning for ridiculous money but found myself caught between selling or waiting to see if any info could be unearthed and not wanting to sell too hastily whist info was so hazy.

Anyway I thought I would let you guys know its up on Ebay now.

I would like to thank Iain for his invaluable help with getting this thread running and helping me with pictures and everyone for showing an interest and helping me get an idea about this little figure.

All the best with the sale Justin although it's a shame to go the ebay route as you'll loose a fair chunk in fees but it is yours to decide what's best for you to do.

im no sherlock holmes but i would imagine that wear / wrinkling / colour break on the bottom right hand corner of the sticker and the fact the corner of the actual card is fine is very much indicative of a sticker which has been peeled away from the card which in my mind points to the sticker having been peeled completely off a card and restuck on this card . or maybe some one just wanted to have a neat look underneath and peeled that corner to do so then stuck it back down leaving that peel wear but i doubt that AND theres little or no way :wink: that the big heavy crease through the centre of the harbert sticker so heavy in fact its broke the colour would not leave a crease or just a slite crease at least on the adjacent front side of the card . but theres nothing it looks flat , you go try and crease something that heavily and leave no trace the other side i bet you cant

Hi Justin, it may be a good idea to put a link to this thread in the item description. Without the background information people could get the impression this sentence " It is an interesting piece that has been verified as genuine by members of the SWFUK" is about the whole piece instead of the loose components.

Just a suggestion, hope you get a good price for it

Damn :shock: that's crazy money! Vinyl Cape Jawa I will never have that's for sure, not unless I can buy one for $200 or less. Anything over that is insane to me. Like what was said above the figure in reality is not rare at all, I would rather spend that kind of money on a truly rare piece.

I have another picture of a card back Justin owns with a Harbert's sticker on it. It's from a 41 back leia Bespin and has the same shop price sticker on it as the VCJ, I'll post it up later for you all to see.

New member who arrived to find advice on a load of items that Im sure members here would like first dibs on……

I took this to ebay due to circumstances I am not prepared to discuss openly through respect to other members. Im not here as a collector or for a hobby, Im here to ask advice and offer some of my old stuff to those who would probably give it a good home…. sorry if that offends.

Hi Ian, cool pictures. Nice to see there is more of them with that sticker. Maybe only this shop in the UK sold cards with those stickers on :?

I have seen the same so far in denmark, that a supermarket called NETTO is the only ones that I have seen that sold cards with clipper stickers on in denmark.

And our Toy stores called BR are the only ones I have seen in denmark selling meccano cards.

I have to admit, seeing the ESB 41 back Leia with both the same store sticker and the ESB Harbert sticker definitely helps prove the SW Jawa could be a reality Justin.

I don't suppose you have any other cards that have both stickers on?

Sorry I cant help doubting these. I never saw a legit sticker with that kind of damage!
