Hey guys.

Bought a mexican bootleg for my focus this week and upon receiving it am quite intrigued by the whole bootleg side to collecting. I quite like the roughness about them and the fact that they are something different.

I might start another side focus of bootlegs but having nothing to do with them so far in my collecting I havent a scooby doo about them.

Where is the best place to find out info on bootlegs and is it a good idea as a collection??? I know there are a couple of fantastic collections on here and RS but not knowing at the moment what im looking at will it be worth it??

Any opinions??

And I'm sure you've seen JoeY's Mexican collection limelight on RS and Steven (ReboJazz) has a huge Mexican/SA collection as well.

Cheers Plantman, still not sure if I like them enough to start a full on collection, would still rather buy a MOC any day. Think I'll do some extensive research first.

Well I also think some of them are crap!!...especially the mexicans.....sorry!!! :lol:

What are you looking for jedi-masters??
You like freaking colors?
Do they have to be movable??
Do you like mixed up stuff???
Or do you want to stay as close as possible to the original ones???
