I answered not on display too but I do have a small shelf inside of a dark cupboard some where at an undisclosed place that I keep a proof or 2 around to look at when ever Im passing it by. Each time I see what ever I have in there I fill up with the big kid syndrome for a few moments. Totally worth it, love the hobby, love Star Wars. 8)

Dave lovely collection pics there man. I didn't know there was so many Care Bear fans out there. Care Bears make Ewoks look like Terminators.

People might think I am coming over to stay or something with that kinda post!

as good as. I have the night off, so will be rooting around and trying to tidy a little for some pictures for the web site :)

On another note, Dave is one of those collectors that could have a museum with his collection IF he actually had it all displayed lol, I think the majority of collectors tend to use boxes for their stuff

I wouldn't go that far :) A lot of the stuff has no interest to most people, I call them infidels.

David,

Is that a collection or a shop? I'm guessing collection. Right?

First picture is the office and the second is the shop, but the picture shows the mini LFL approved exhibit for the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back which ran for 6 weeks

Must hide those Popy's from Tundra, David. He's trying to cut down.
Would love to see some more pics of your store.

sadly the items in the exhibit were just that, for exhibition, they weren't items for sale in the shop :)

Display for me. I love it. Looking forward to updating my cabinets, hopefully within the next 48 hrs!

The Ikea cabinets can be sourced really cheap, i bought my first 2 second hand for £11 (for the pair), the 3rd and 4th i bought for £20 and £15, all on Ebay. All 4 for less than £50

I bought blackout curtains and a roller blind for the room they are in, to reduce solar damage. The room remains in darkness until guests stay and have to spend the night with my mini museum

actually I can recommend the Blackout blinds from www.blinds4UK.co.uk ours custom made and easy enough for me to install, worked out at around £40 for total sun repellent :)

That looks ace. 8)

BAT's are always ace, that one is equipped with a Marauder Gun Runners Grenade Launcher. They do some amazing stuff!!!
I'm thinking of doing a similar sized show for Star Wars collectors next year, possibly for ROTJ 30th or AOTC 3D release, something like that, but there are a few people interested in coming over to the UK for it :)

Thanks for the price guide Charlie :)

Just about finished my display room / office.
I just purchased 2 ikea glass cabinets for £39 each. Unreal value, the glass alone would cost double that I imagine.
Display, defo!!

I have recently managed to squeeze my Yoda focus into a display cabinet, keep meaning to limelight my Yoda stuff but never seem to get the time. All my MOCs though are stacked in star cases in a wardrobe at the moment, again just dont have the room to have them all on display. Plus I do worry a little about sunlight damage to the card and bubble. Spec for my next house will have a room just for Star Wars!! :D
