Did anyone here buy this Blue Snag First shot?

I watched it for about 10 mins deciding if I should click buy it now or not..

Considering people pay £200+ for some variants like Orange haired Luke it seems like a great deal even with its damage.

I dunno man, I hope the buyer will be happy and it is legit but it all looks a little shady to me. Dark pics, explanations, no mention of foot copyrights...

I had my doubts, I was thinking of firing a question off about pegholes, copyright info on legs etc but it was sold by the time I had weighed up the pro's and con's..

I hope its legit, its a nice piece if it is and if the seller is a veteran collector he could always fire off an email to Tom with some pictures to confirm the story, lets face it he isn't going to have forgotten a FS Snag that he had to authenticate...

Well assuming the certificate is real, why would anyone sell it if it went with their own figure?

If I had one I wouldn't even photocopy it for someone let alone sell it when it belongs to a piece I own.

I do think it all looks a bit strange, the price, the fact that the figure conveniently fell and broke out of the acrylic case, but if its real I still think its a decent pick up for $100!

Good point Jay, I kind of think the pro's outweigh the con's on this one, if its a piece of **** you get your money back, for that price it must have been worth a shot! Good luck to the buyer!

Even with the damage I think that was an excellent price. Hopefully the buyer will limelight it for us to see some better pictures.

Broken or not - it could still be a legitimate first shot, I would take a broken pre production figure over a bag of variants any day.. :roll:

Think of it this way, if its real he could probably pull it a part and sell each limb for $100, there are loads of collectors that buy the odd limb here and there if its pre production!

Ohh aye it may well have history etc, but it still LOOKS ****! :lol:
It's like that white caped Bid that was limelighted on RS, worth a fortune, and I think totally unique (MOC) but it looks AWFUL IMO.

A.) Original Van Gogh painting

B.) His paintbrushes/brush

I guess you would go for A even if you don't like Van Gogh because its something worth looking at right?

Second option isn't pretty or much to look at but without them the pretty pictures wouldn't be around for anyone to look at !

So what's more important , what something IS or what something looks like.
