Well I got an update on this!

The first shot blue snag WAS the real deal, the new owner traced it back to Ebon (Wampa) on RS who indeed sold it to the person who sold it on ebay.

The figure also lacks any copyright details and was presumably hand painted (that's why the figure lacked paint on his boots - it simply wore off with time)

Unfortunately due to the damage of this figure it broke during shipping but the new owner is currently reassembling it for display !

Thanks for the update Joe. I was thinking about this the other day. I really thought it would turn out to be a fake.
There you go!. I'd still never have bought it tho (other than to sell it on for a profit).

No worries mate I was tempted, sat watching the auction for a while, its a neat piece and the guy who got it is a proto collector so its in good hands now, still $100 for a broken First Shot , in my eyes at least was worth it
