Isn't this another one of those things where the police should get involved? Smells like insurance fraud or some sort of deception to me. Is Deber living in the UK? I'm not up to speed with the whole issue as I don't go on RS. But I gather there's something gone on with the collection being 'stolen' and then bits turning up for sale?

Basically Deber has been found out selling MOCs on Facebook that are supposed to have been "stolen" and has also swapped the Cape of a VCJ in a deal with Carl a person who put a huge amount of time and effort in helping deal with this supposed "theft".
Dennis then did some detective work and found out that "Debers" supposed husband had actually scammed both Transformers and GI Joe collectors previously under the name Erwin
Basically all that about "her" stolen collection was a complete lie! :evil: :twisted:
Everyones goodwill and generosity in giving her some very nice items include a Laptop, a piece of Pyro from Franks wife and a wide array of SW Pieces plus £275 quid has been compleely taken advantage of. Erwin really is the lowest of the low.
The generous concensus is tho that this is some sort of Insurance scam and he never expected this from the community and tried to keep stringing the story together for as long as he could

I had already considered paying a visit & if there had been enough money left in the pot to get there I would have been knocking her/his door in person, sadly what was left over (the part that will now be being used for a raffle) would not have even been enough to cover my fuel cost to & from the airport, or **** me I would have been there already guys.
You are all going through now what me Dennis & Matt were going through a month or so back & may I say having similar reactions, its a seriously sour pill to swallow.
H/she did say in the emails that hey were willing to return the items & compensate folk for postage costs, but I am pretty sure its a hollow offer.
I have every email between both myself & Dennis & Matt saved as well as the 2 or 3 from Deborah just in case there is something can be done, but with it being a gift off our own backs I see little that can be done legally.

Remember when this first came out - I'm completely an old cynical bastard therefore I didn't put in. Although that doesn't stop me from feeling absolutely gutted at what this **** has done. The amount of goods/monetary value is bad enough but to pray on peoples good will. He needs his head kicking in - this is serious fraud!

I am about a 2 hour drive away from her, but i know a fella who lives only a 20 minute walk from her. But you can't expect anyone to Pay them a real visit.
