Damn I wish I had trade bait!

Its definitely one I will have to make a decision on later on in life - £6Kish is a lot of money

It doesn't do a huge amount for me especially for the price but i can certainly see the appeal. They are extremely rare and its cool seeing one.

Think Andy would trade for a horse and cart? One careful owner :)

Ah I think there are a few members further along in their tri quests on RS that deserve it more than me! Besides, I think Iain will be there sooner than I will at the rate he is going haha!

You could buy it and rip it off the card for the cardback alone.Im sure the figure itself could bring thousands.... :D

Hmmmmm - you didnt hear the discussion today between my missus and my brother where she is telling him I could sell my collection in order to get a deposit for a house - can't see her going for me spending £6k on one figure :(

Big mistake Iain- NEVER tell your wife how much things cost!

Must admit we were gearing up to buy recently and my wife looked at my stuff and said - you could sell those you would bring in a bit of extra cash, I just shook my head and said unfortunately they aren't worth anything lol

Yes, I made a bit of a mistake there - that said, luckily for me she doesnt know the half of it - otherwise she would cut my balls off

Liam. If you or anybody else want to cream off about it on RS...why not start a thread up?
I mean you would have to be a slow learner to not realise there is a chance, Mike, or whoever, will come in and throw down the "non transactional blah blah" card.

I realise there are plenty of threads with them in it, that don't get jumped on, and that's what some of you are on about. Just don't get why you aren't more proactive about it if you really want to talk about the items...Or like Mike said PM the seller if you just want to give them praise.

I aint saying don't post in the classifieds whenever you want...I am just saying don't whinge about it if you know what the outcome maybe. It's like saying "I went swimming with man eating sharks and the ****ers bit me."

That part was a funny read.

Also seconded the WAF (Women's Acceptance Factor) in regards of SW prices.

I have an Excel sheet where I keep track of all my SW spendings (and to be honest it always nearly makes me throw up as well every time I see the total). If SHE knew what I have spent in the last 3/4 year ... 8)
I never lie though, sometimes she asks me how much a certain item had cost and I tell her. But she has no idea of the complete picture and it should stay that way.

Funny that I'm not alone with this "problem".

as long as it disappears into my collection room......she thinks It's always been there and if she happens to go into the room and say "Wow that looks new...where did you get the money to buy that?".........I always reply by saying..."Damn ...you know it's been in my collection for years, you really take interest in my hobby, don't you?".........works everytime. :p
