cool dream

last night i dreamt i was walking through a field with my g/f and i saw a vintage rees yees head popping out of the ground i dug it up and he was in mint condition i kept digging and i kept finding figure upon figure all in mint condition vc jawa, blue snag amanaman etc etc and loads of weapons too....it was a ace dream :mrgreen:

i found them all dubbles , variations you name it at cheap cheap prices , i even pm'd stu about it in my dream,,

then evenately i woke still rembereing it , and thought , **** thgat was a vision , so without brusching my theeth i go straight fr the computer only to find out that the ebay brazil beast doesnt exist ,

There was a time years ago i used to have these kind of dreams all the time.

When i was 12 I was mad about toy soldiers, so would dream that I went into a toy shop and found soldiers from all different types of wars that I hadn't seen before.

When in my late teens I got back into star wars collecting finding star wars toys became my common dream.

And my dreams became more complex and sophisticated as my knowledge and collecting experience became greater,


God I hate those dreams!!!! :twisted:

As a boy I had a dream I was on a garbage dump composed entirely of vintage Star Wars Vehicles. Especially AT-AT's, lots of them.

Bit of foreshadowing there. 8)

I had a vintage SW dream last night too - but it was rubbish. I dreamt that I suddenly noticed my loose Klaatu was covered in orange marks, and was a rare variant - but still worth sweet FA :roll:

I used to have dreams about finding hauls at car boots - ebay doesn't have thwe same magic

Then I discovered collectors shops and so my dreams moved onto those.

Once I'd got the Sansweet book and saw what was actually available, my dreams got ever more detailed.

The flea markets of Bradford and York car boot sale around 1993/4 were my main sources - York was huge, I remember one seller having a stack of loose Yak Faces for £10 each and I thought that was way too much

I can remember getting my Yak for 50p at a carboot 8)

mind you at the same carboot I picked up a 50p barada but put it down not realising it was star wars.

several years later, that mistake cost £30

I never knew about the last 17 either, my first Barada cost £40 from a shop in Greenwich, I think I paid a simialr amount for a loose dewback

i had one a couple months back where ive dreamnt ive been shopping in a super market asda probably and theres these dump bins by the dvds aisle with vintage figures in with the new figure 1.59 sticker on (trilogos) but there now marked 50p and ive bought them all :mrgreen: sadly...i wake up lol
