To those who also think this is some elaborate scheme, here's the breakdown on the whole thing, I was keeping second and third place a secret but since you all want to give your opinions, I guess I need to ruin it so you can see what a "money maker" this is
Blue Stars - I paid $700. I sent it to AFA and had it authenticated and cased. $100
2nd Place - Biker Scout Polish Unart in all Blue - Paid $85
3rd Place - Princess Leia Unart - Paid $50
So I paid $935 total plus various shipping charges. I'm also paying 3 shipping charges to the winners. If Blue Stars goes overseas, that's $35 alone. Lets say they don't. I don't know. So it could be cheap as $15 , could be $50 max.
Ok i made the 600 with the bluestars that sold for 250, and exaggerated with that price, but to be honest, 1200 is way over aswell and that what i am trying to say.
Lets see, you paid 700 (i don not count afa costs, as that was not the price paid for the bluestars), the one from michael sold for around 800 and the one from ebay with the best offer aswell for around 800. the last one on the bay sold for 1025 right?, so now i am using all the ones you use as example, so lets make the breakdown... 700+800+800+1025 = 3325/4 = 831.25 as an average fair market value, lets even call it 850.
Before this post there was never mentioned a second and third price, and you alsways say, the winner of the raffle gets their items shipped to them free at no charge, so this means, we should not count that towards the total (entree fees) either. So if we establish a fair market value based one previous sales it would be 850, right?

Seriously I'm beyond words right now. I've quietly helped so many people , acted as a mailbox for some of you, resolved issues for others. And it's nice to see that after these years I can be accused of fixing a raffle or some elaborate profiteering scheme.
Like i said, i don't agree with your valuation for your own items at your own raffle. But i have nothing against you as a person and respect you as a collector and great guy in the hobby! I never said you would fix the raffle to select "the winner".
Edit: I wanted to point this out as an discussion, but it's hard to make my point of view clear without putting an example. Anyway, i don't want this to start into a fight in anyway.
Like i said before, i like that you control the raffles and act as a third person on the stuff that is raffled from another member, but still, i thought you should do this own your own items aswell.
peace.
