Haha, the programmes are IDM, Photoshop, Illustrator and 3dsMax.
I study 3D design and animation, and I work as a freelance illustrator so they are the programmes I use the most.
They're there for easy access so I don't have to minimize swfuk when I need to do something. :p

Lol, work does tend to get in the way, I am supposed to be updating a family members website.

Whats 3DsMax like? Easy to get to grips with? I have used Bryce (but thats just puppy dog compared to Max) and Lightwave.

I've just started to get to know 3dsMax, and it's a little frustrating to try to remember where everything is.
I have actually started to write down shortcuts and where to find it all, there's a lot to digest!

Lol, 3D modelling is like that. that why I ditched Lightwave and stuck with Bryce, its easy to use but more of a hobbyists tool.

I have a movie in the works when I get a little more advanced, my mate who died last november made a script that I'm
going to make into an animated feature as tribute to him.
Zombies, shamans, inbreds, and kids going to battle them!! 8)

Good luck, your inspiration sounds like it will be enough to see you through to the end of the project...

Are you going to mix real life with CGI?

tundra9 said:
No, only CGI, the characters will be a bit cartoony if I get my will. :p

Ambitious stuff, hope it goes well. I will look forward to the trailer...

I love this kind of stuff, you are a bit far away for me to offer help though :(

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with my ambition!!
But maybe we should start another thread, we seem to have hijacked paulcalfs thread! :p

^^ I knew neither of these options, I just click the left arrow thingy top left of my screen to go back

Seconded! :?

Thirded I just tested them both out. I only used the middle of the mouse for up and down scrolling.

I usually just click the right hand of the mouse and then the open new tab comes up that I use the left to click.

Wow, i didn't know a post like this would create such 'interest'.

I know there are other ways of opening links in separate windows (i right click the link and open in another tab), but it would be easier for everyone if links automatically opened in a new window.

Not sure Edd has read this but will buzz him and see if he can make the change if it is something everyone feels strongly about, I must admit I just got used to it over the years but it would probably be a bit easier if it opened a new tab/page for you with each click.

I wouldn't worry about it. It doesn't seem to bother anyone else or it doesn't bother anyone who has replied.

I have to say i'm not loosing too much sleep over it either. It was just a thought really

I like the system how it is at the moment. It gives me control to do whatever I like with a link.

Having the option to turn the "feature" on or off in the UCP might be a good solution?

This issue was brought up a few years back, Edd had a good reason why it works the way it does - but I've no idea what that was now
