I just wanted to chime in on reading this new thread. I am the seller of the trilogo jawa which I have advertised on ebay and RS. Yes it is advertised at £6750 and if anybody wants to give that for it please get in touch, and I will be happy to take your money.

But in both places it is also advertised as OBO meaning or best offer (in case you didnt know)
It has been mentioned that the market value of this is around £2000. If you can get me another AFA 85 one of these I'll give you £3000 for it straight away.
In terms of trilogo jawas/madines/fetts, I seen more madines/fetts sell in the last 2 years than jawas, and I've seen no 85 jawas sell for about 3 years. The last madine I know changed hands recently for £10000......Fetts are pretty eay to pick up.
Market value is what someone is prepared to pay for something and how badly they want it. Recently any early star wars high grade pieces I know of, have changed hands for considerable amounts of money. If some of you only knew what certain pieces sell for, you would faint. High grade early stuff and reasonably rare stuff is all the rage but its all about condition nowadays.
A good example is the palitoy 12 back chewbacca currently on ebay. I will not be susprised if it goes over £4000.
In regards to carded vc jawas, they are not in the same league as this piece, and 85's regularly sell for £4000+. Everyone thinks that carded vc jawas are in some way special and rare, but the truth is they are as common as loose dt lukes and blue snags! Two a penny.
I have been a member here for a while but only pop in now and again to browse. Thought I needed to reply to this thread.
And to Mr Gowdy, I am not from a different planet, just more up to date with things
Thanks
Jim
