Ah Dark crystal....

Not seen that since the early 90's 8)

Dark Crystal was one of my favourite films in the early 80's. Bought the DVD a few years ago and still it looks beautiful. Only thing is I think it's a bit, well ...dark for kids these days :? Skexis are scary and torturing pod people is ****ing harsh. Great in our day but kids these days :roll: ... it's all Sponge Bob Square Pants and Frozen

Those Dark Crystal prototypes look awesome!!

Quite a number of the kids movies back then were a bit scary or odd.. Labyrinth (Bowies trousers), E.T. (swearing), Time Bandits (bloody terrifying!). :shock:

In fairness, my daughter (4) isn't scared by Vader at all, but we always have to skip the trash compactor! :?

I also bought the Dark Crystal some years ago on DVD, it is Fantastic. Wish they had made a 2nd movie

Do Disney own it ? if they do we will for sure see a 2nd movie :lol:

Probably too labour intensive these days. They definitely don't make 'em like that anymore. And, unlike Ewoks, Dark Crystal hasn't aged a day. Still looks epic 8)

Yes battle for endor is the best and a facebook group sounds like a great idea, maybe x-pack would be our first new member :lol:
