Caravan of Courage

Remake but with maybe only one or two Ewoks ....or none at all. Better!

I thought it needed more Biker Scouts, Speeder Bikes, Scout Walkers and space battles. Less Ewoks and 50 foot tall giants :)
not feeling any love for our fury friends here :(

What links to the OT are there in these films, if any?

Ewoks Ewoks and more Ewoks ...Logray, Wicket, the Ewok village, Warwick Davies Jnr (hard to believe), a laser gun and a boy who looks a bit like Luke Skywalker.

It's likely the same locations were used to film the Redwood forest and there are one or two background paintings of the Ewok village that could have come from ROTJ. There are one or two moments when you kind of recognise the musical score.

Apparently C of C is from the time period between ESB and ROTJ but anyone would struggle to link it. Maybe someone can shed some light as to whether it fits with the EU in some way.

In my opinion any Star Wars fan should watch C of C because it part of the OT 1980's legacy ...and it's ****ing miles better than Holiday Special and arguably better than Droids.

If anyone hasn't seen C of C then you probably should. I wouldn't be saying that about the Holiday Special now would I? :?

Glad to see some love for it! If you edited out the stupid forest beast and spider scenes that look like something out of a 1940s Greek Mythology film, it's a half-decent watch. And as above there are definitely a few occasions during the film that make you feel like you're watching Star Wars eg the music.

I remember watching both Ewok movies as a kid and vaguely remember one being good(ish) and the other poor. Can't remember which was which!

Hmm ... difficult to say either way :?

Haven't seen Endor yet. It might be good'ish

I did find one of them on you tube so need to get my act together and watch it, instead of just posting irrelevant posts in this thread

Could be the plan of action for this evening!

Prepare yourself for an hour and a half of cinematic joy! But seriously, it's Star Wars, so everyone on here should at least see C of C.

Yub nub! 8)

Man up!

If you can't get through Caravan then how will you get through Holiday Special?

Or Episode 7? I think I'd rather watch either Ewoks movie than any of the prequels!

Really? You must really hate the prequels when as C of C is pretty bad.
